This role leads the Oncology Precision Medicine strategy and execution agenda, shaping how precision medicine priorities are translated into clear business strategy, customer-facing execution, and cross-functional enterprise alignment. The leader will partner closely across Commercial, Medical, GCSO, R&D and enabling functions to advance current portfolio priorities, build future capability, and strengthen Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine's leadership position in precision medicine.
Key Responsibilities
Develop the US Precision Medicine strategy, vision, priorities and execution roadmap in partnership with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, aligned to J&J business priorities .
Lead US Precision Medicine marketing team, National Director of Precision Medicine accounts, and US Precision Medicine Account Management team in the US
Translate strategy into clear plans that support current and future on-market Oncology portfolio needs.
Strengthen external engagement with key oncology customers, cancer centers and market influencers to inform strategy and execution.
Build capability, clarity and momentum across the Precision Medicine organization, including direct leadership of customer-facing teams.
Advance biomarker testing strategy and patient identification opportunities that strengthen precision medicine adoption and impact.
Create practical ways of working across Commercial, Medical, R&D, GCSO and enabling functions to drive decisions and execution at pace.
Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, PharmD, MD) preferred.
A minimum of 12 years of pharmaceutical business experience is required.
Deep oncology and precision medicine experience, with demonstrated strength across sales, marketing, account management, personalized healthcare and/or strategic planning/business development required.
Strategic, enterprise-minded commercial leader who can shape vision, align priorities and move teams from strategy to execution.
Proven people leader who creates open dialogue, healthy debate and strong team performance.
Customer-centered operator with credibility across external stakeholders and experience engaging top oncology customers.
Comfortable building new capabilities, leading through ambiguity and integrating complex work across a matrix organization.
Experience building team AI literacy and confidence, reinforcing trusted and responsible AI use and sound judgment is preferred.
Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time is preferred.
