The Position
We are looking for highly motivated and exceptional university graduates at the start of their careers to join the StartUp Roche Pharma China Development Program. This program is designed to accelerate your development into a future leader who will shape the company and advance its purpose: "Doing now what patients need next."
To support your accelerated career path, the program provides extensive resources for your success. You will benefit from rotations, mentorship, direct engagement with senior leaders in China and global teams, and a systematic capability-building program to fast-track your professional development.
The program includes the following development journeys within Roche Pharma China’s key functions: 1) Customer Engagement - Marketing, 2) Medical, and 3) Market Access (National Market Access NMA, Multi-Channel & Ecosystem Partnering MCE, Hospital Strategic Alliance HSA). Each journey has distinct development goals and rotation plans. Candidates should apply for the specific development journey that aligns with their career interests and educational background.
As a Management Trainee of the program, you will be expected to:
Actively engage in program rotations, completing assigned tasks and meeting learning objectives set by your rotation managers.
Proactively leverage your expertise and business knowledge to contribute to patient-centric and customer-focused outcomes.
Think like an entrepreneur, connecting insights to create value, prioritize key investments, and make informed business decisions.
Take charge of your own development, continuously building skills and capabilities that align with your career goals and organizational needs.
Demonstrate flexibility regarding relocation assignments and business travel as required by the program.
Actively contribute to the development and growth of the MT community.
In the Customer Engagement - Marketing development journey, you will be expected to:
Develop and implement life cycle brand strategies based on comprehensive analysis of internal and external insights and data.
Plan, execute, and manage marketing activities and strategic projects.
Engage with customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to communicate the latest academic advancements, gather feedback, and refine strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives and deliver meaningful impact on patient care.
Requirements (Customer Engagement - Marketing)
Bachelor's or Master’s graduates, majoring in Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health, or Life Sciences are preferred
Be in the early stage of your career; you are expected to graduate between July 1st, 2026 and June 30th, 2027, with no prior full-time work experience
