About this opportunity
.
Department
Marketing, KSA affiliate, International Operations
Your impact begins here
As Sr. Manager, Brand Marketing, you will own the integrated brand and portfolio strategy for our diabetes business in Saudi Arabia. You will turn affiliate priorities into clear growth, market-share and return-on-investment objectives, and lead a team that connects strategy, market development and field execution. From launch readiness to new channels and partnerships, your decisions will shape how our treatments reach healthcare professionals and people living with diabetes across KSA.
What you’ll bring
You are a commercial leader who sets direction, makes clear choices and delivers through others. You will bring:
A relevant academic degree in medicine, pharmacy, science or business.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Strong brand, portfolio, lifecycle, go-to-market and omnichannel / multichannel engagement capability.
Strong business, commercial and financial acumen, and a data-driven approach to decisions.
The ability to translate strategy into clear priorities and deliver results through others.
Strong communication, influencing, stakeholder management and executive presentation skills.
A high patient and science orientation, with sound judgement across growth, evidence, access and compliance.
What you’ll do
You will set the strategic direction for the brand and portfolio plan, lead the team that brings it to life, and expand the market, channels and partnerships that drive sustainable growth.
Lead in-depth analysis of market dynamics, prescribing habits, the competitive and access landscape and how patients and customers move through care – then define the annual and long-term brand and portfolio strategy, priority segments and go-to-market approach.
Own the marketing budget and resource allocation, investing in the highest-impact initiatives. Set KPIs and governance to track forecasts, sales, market share, share of growth, customer engagement and campaign ROI, and act quickly when performance deviates.
Integrate HCP, KOL/DOL, consumer, pharmacy and e-health touchpoints into coordinated omnichannel plans with clear content calendars, KPIs and owners – and make sure Sales and other execution teams understand the strategy, with training and feedback loops.
Spend at least 20% of your time with target customers, working alongside the sales force on a regular visit plan.
Identify growth whitespace, strategic accounts, new channels and partnerships; lead counterstrategies, lifecycle actions and launch readiness, including future indications and formulations.
Direct external agencies, vendors and partners with clear briefs, governance, performance measures and budget discipline, so execution is high quality and compliant with Novo Nordisk policies and local regulations.
Minimum requirements
3-4 years of brand management experience.
Experience in diabetes therapy area is preferred.
Portfolio management is an advantage.
Previous track record with a team of direct reports is a plus.
Who you’ll work with
You will join the Marketing team in the KSA affiliate, part of International Operations, where colleagues work across markets to serve people around the world and help improve health at scale. You will report to the Cardiometabolic Associate Director for HCP Marketing
Your closest partners will be Sales, Medical, Market Access & Public Affairs, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Procurement and People & Organisation, as well as Business Area and Region leadership. You will represent Commercial Marketing in cross-functional governance, bringing these teams together so decisions are aligned across the product life cycle.
Outside Novo Nordisk, you will build relationships with key and digital opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, scientific societies, hospitals, patient advocacy groups and strategic commercial partners across KSA.
What you can expect here
You will be trusted to own decisions. Within agreed objectives and budget governance, you will set direction, allocate resources and approve or recommend priorities and investments – and you will see the results of those choices in the market.
You will work with advanced analytics, market intelligence and AI-enabled tools, and lead experiments with new channels, digital health and omnichannel engagement, scaling what delivers measurable value. Clear performance expectations, honest feedback and a culture that rewards results will support you to grow as a leader while your team grows with you.

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
