Our Team, Your Impact
The Professional Meeting Planner is responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of meetings and events within Teva’s Strategic Meetings Management Program (SMMP). The role independently manages small-to-mid complexity meetings while ensuring consistent application of processes, tools, and supplier strategies. The position works closely with business stakeholders and supports senior team members in delivering high-quality, compliant and cost-effective events.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
Serve as primary planning contact for assigned meetings
Conduct structured intake meetings and translate requirements into clear meeting briefs
Provide proactive communication, updates and risk visibility throughout the event lifecycle
Execute sourcing via Cvent Supplier Network prioritizing preferred suppliers
Evaluate proposals and prepare structured venue recommendations
Lead standard negotiations within defined authority and escalate complex negotiations
Develop detailed project plans including milestones and dependencies
Manage logistics such as F&B, AV, transportation, registration and rooming lists
Manage budgets, track actuals and support reconciliation and reporting
Ensure all meetings are registered in Cvent and meet SMMP process requirements
Support compliance tracking, reporting and adoption activities led by senior roles
Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing
Build and manage Cvent events including registration, sourcing and reporting modules
Generate reports on registration, spend and performance
Support system adoption and contribute to global rollout initiatives
Your Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
4–6 years of corporate meeting planning experience with proven ability to independently deliver events end-to-end. Experience working in global or cross-functional environments is preferred.
Availability for business travel and flexibility to work outside standard business hours as required.
Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Effective stakeholder communication across different organizational levels.
Ability to work in structured, process-driven environments while managing ambiguity.
Solid financial tracking and budgeting understanding.
Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
Knowledge of CVENT platform (must).
Familiarity with virtual event platforms and attendee App's.
Cvent proficiency (event setup, sourcing, reporting) required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Exposure to travel or expense systems is an advantage.
