Our Team, Your Impact
The Senior Manager – Strategic Sourcing ‘Core/Agile’ is responsible for leading and executing strategic sourcing and contracting activities across assigned External Manufacturing (EXM) Core/Agile portfolio areas, aligned to priorities set by Procurement Category Management, Teva’s Core/Agile EXM organizations and Teva’s Core/Agile Manufacturing organization.
Reporting to the Senior Director – Strategic Sourcing Core / Agile Lead, this role operates as a hands-on sourcing manager, operationalizing category strategies and business requirements into RFx events, negotiations, and contracts.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing events with a mindset of continuous improvement for assigned EXM categories, suppliers, or initiatives.
Plan and execute RFx events, negotiations, and supplier selections.
Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, including pricing, capacity, and key commercial terms.
Support contract development, review, and execution in partnership with Legal and cross-functional teams.
Embrace agility and accountability, learning through execution and adapting quickly to changing business needs.
Deliver measurable sourcing value through cost optimization, negotiations, and contract execution.
Demonstrate a bias for action by proactively solving problems, accelerating decision-making, and delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Track sourcing activities, outcomes, and benefits using standard tools and templates.
Engage suppliers through structured sourcing processes and commercial discussions.
Maintain awareness of supplier capabilities, capacity constraints, and relevant market dynamics.
Challenge legacy practices and identifying opportunities to simplify, optimize, and transform business processes.
Ensure sourcing activities comply with procurement policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Partner with Category Managers, External Manufacturing, Quality, and other stakeholders to execute sourcing initiatives.
Contribute to development and refinement of sourcing playbooks, standard work, procurement systems and tools.
Your Skills and Experience
Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, Bachelor's degree with 7+ years
Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end strategic sourcing and contracting activities, preferably within External Manufacturing or regulated industries.
Strong working knowledge of sourcing and negotiation practices.
Experience delivering savings and sourcing value initiatives.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
Strong execution and delivery mindset with attention to detail.
Effective negotiation and commercial acumen.
