Our Team, Your Impact
The Senior Professional, Global Meetings, Congresses & Events is responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of global meetings and events. The role ensures cost-efficient and high-quality events aligned with Teva's Strategic Meetings Management Program (SMMP) and procurement strategy. The position acts as a key interface between business stakeholders and procurement functions, ensuring operational excellence and consistent execution.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
Act as primary interface for business stakeholders across Commercial, Medical, HR, and Finance
Translate business needs into structured event requirements and execution plans
Provide clear communication, risk management and status updates
Lead sourcing activities for venues and services aligned with preferred supplier strategies
Support contract negotiations ensuring favorable commercial and compliance terms
Manage supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost control and transparency
Track spend, savings, and reconciliation in line with finance requirements
Ensure accurate coding and reporting of meeting spend
Align with Global Procurement on category strategy, supplier frameworks and sourcing guidelines
Ensure sourcing activities deliver contracted value and execution discipline
Provide feedback into category strategy and supplier performance
Ensure proper use of Cvent and other tools for registration, sourcing and reporting
Maintain data quality and reporting accuracy
Support adoption of digital tools across stakeholders
Your Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree required; additional certifications (e.g., CMP) are an advantage.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in meetings, events or travel management in a global organization. Preferably within pharmaceutical or regulated environment.
Availability for business travel and flexibility to work outside standard business hours as required
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to work in complex global environments.
Solid understanding of structured meeting processes.
Analytical mindset with financial acumen.
Knowledge of CVENT platform (must).
Familiarity with virtual event platforms and attendee App's .
