The Position

Job Purpose

As the chapter lead for the Marketing Chapter, you will be responsible for leading, monitoring and developing in-depth marketing strategies to add continuous improvement and value to patients, establish commercial partnership with the external stakeholders and accelerate broader patient access as a result.

As a chapter lead, you will act as an agile leader (Visionary, Architect, Coach, Catalyst) and ensure all chapter members live Roche Taiwan’s desired state culture. You are passionate about our focus on people & culture, our external customers, patient access and long-term healthcare sustainability in Taiwan.

You will be the catalyst and role model to lead the team, raise the standard of marketing capability in the era of AI to foster commercialization excellence.

You will be the catalyst to contribute to the network within and beyond Taiwan. You always put patients at the center of our operations and ensure everything we do will sustainably benefit patients and bring value to our society and the company.

Role Scope

Act as a VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) leader who enable individuals and teams are developing and growing in line with their passion and the needs of the organization

Develop framework to ensure chapter members are marketing experts and are competent to :

Creates and fosters a strong team spirit and takes on the role of ‘strategic product champion’.

Leads the development of the local (or above affiliate) marketing strategy.

Drives and coordinates branding development/evolution process.

Maintains up to date knowledge of the global market for the therapy area.

Monitors competitor activity and recommends action.

Cultivates and develops Key Opinion Leaders, product advocates and speakers.

Reviews, approves and monitors budget.

Provides input into public relations and access strategy.

Assures forecast submission, inventory level and cost seasonality

Ensure t he development of the marketing strategies and their execution with a strong focus of patient value and connected with all the strategies and solutions generated by different functions and teams

Lead the t eam t o support commercial ac ti vities for dedicat e d disease areas

Catalyze the network way of working: l eads the t eam to w ork as partners wi th other chapters/ clusters w ithi n and beyond the a ffi liate

Ensure resource and talent fluidity to achieve affiliate outcomes

Support APAC team for the people development of APAC marketers in Taiwan

Requirements

Qualifications: Good Compliance track record. No material Compliance violation is identified in the past 5 years 

Education:Minimum: A bachelor degree in scientific, economic, or business related fields. An advanced degree in Life Science and/or MBA is a plus.

Working Experience:

More than 5 years’ experience of pharmaceutical product management or equivalent experience, and more than 8 years’ experience in commercial related function

Demonstrate the capability achieving or exceeding sales and marketing goals

Excellent proficiency in planning and managing resources deployment

Experience in leading cross-functional teams or marketing teams achieving ambitious goals

Experience in working in an organization that has adopted agile methodologies and ways of working would be a significant advantage

Skills & Knowledge:

Good knowledge of Compliance requirements and clear understanding of high standards of Integrity

Ability to lead teams and creating a working culture that is transparent, values driven and ensures personal growth of employees

Strong understanding of human drivers in the context of change management

A Visionary, Architect, Catalyst & Coach - you thrive on empowering others

A strong collaborator, experience building and leveraging networks

Proven track record of driving experimentation and smart risk-taking, and not afraid to fail/learn fast

Highly skilled in working independently in a cross functional in a matrix environment. Ability to influence without authority.

Experience in developing and implementing strategies and resource plans. Ability to help team members prioritize time and resources.

Ability to adopt and lead with agile methodologies and ways of working

Ability to understand and leverage digital means and tools

Strong communication and story-telling skills; highly fluent in English

Others (i.e. Travel Requirement):

National and international travel: Approximately 10 %
