SILC brings together Strategic Launch Partnerships, Strategy & Operations, Transformation, Change Management & Communications, and Commercialization Excellence, working closely with Global Business Units, Digital teams, and local affiliates worldwide.

About the role

As a Team Lead - Project Manager, you will play a critical leadership role within SILC, combining people leadership, project execution, and operational excellence. You will lead and develop a team of Project Managers and Associate Project Managers while ensuring the successful delivery of strategic initiatives across the organization.

You will translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, establish clear governance and accountability, and create visibility on progress, risks, and outcomes. Working in a highly matrixed global environment, you will align stakeholders, drive execution, and enable your team to deliver results that have a direct impact on launch excellence across Sanofi.

This position requires a strong leader who can inspire and develop talent, foster collaboration, and ensure consistent project management standards and ways of working across a portfolio of initiatives.

Main responsibilities:

Partner with stakeholders across global teams to align objectives, facilitate decision-making, and drive project progress.

Establish and maintain project governance, reporting, and performance tracking to provide visibility on outcomes and priorities.

Support resource planning, workload balancing, and capability development across the team.

Drive continuous improvement by implementing consistent project management practices and operational processes.

Prepare and deliver updates, presentations, and insights for leadership and key stakeholders.

About you

Experience: Experience as a people manager with direct reports, leading team performance, development, and delivery in a complex, global matrix organization.

Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, governance, risk management, and reporting.

Soft and technical skills: Proven ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment, across cultures, functions and time zones.

Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to prioritize autonomously, and to keep the overview without losing the detail.

Excellent presentation and collaboration skills. Experience in pharma or life sciences, and exposure to product launches, is an advantage.

Proactive thinking and engaging presence, comfortable following up with and challenging senior stakeholders when a date is at risk.

Clear written and spoken communication, empathy, and the judgement to know what to escalate and what to solve.

Reliability, independence and strong attention to detail, with the ability to stay composed under pressure.

Education: College or university graduate. A certification in project management, for example PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile, is preferable.

Languages: C1 English is a must, both written and spoken.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
