Job Title: Senior Medical Advisor UK & Ireland - Neurology

Location: Head Office (3 days/week)

Servier UK are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Medical Advisor to lead this endeavor for the UK and Ireland. This pivotal role requires a sophisticated blend of scientific excellence, strategic thinking, and a deep commitment to medical compliance. You will serve as the primary scientific expert for our neurology portfolio, providing critical medical and scientific expertise to cross-functional teams and acting as a vital bridge between the clinical community and the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the UK and Ireland medical affairs strategy for Neurology area/product, translating global medical strategies into high-impact local initiatives, including data generation, scientific communication, and educational programs.

Provide and collaborate on project planning, implementing, and managing UK medical projects and activities that align with the strategic plan.

Represent Servier UK as a therapy area expert by maintaining a high level of scientific expertise for the assigned product/s and relevant Neurology therapy areas.

Provide Medical Affairs support for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of Cross Functional Team (CFT) projects, including market access and regulatory.

Gather early insights and knowledge on new disease areas to help inform company strategy.

Coordinate the execution of the local evidence generation and dissemination strategy plan for assigned product in line with the medical plan.

Support and monitor related UK Investigator-Sponsored Studies (ISSs) from a national perspective.

Develop and provide UK and Ireland oversight for medical education for assigned product and disease area.

Lead national medical/scientific discussions, data exchange, and medical education development with national Therapy Area Experts (TAEs), in line with the ABPI Code of Practice.

Assist and oversee the setup of national UK company phase 3b, Phase IV, and non-interventional studies according to local regulations and standards, i.e., GCP.

Provide expert clinical guidance to cross-functional teams and support on cross-functional projects that align with the overall strategy for the brand.

Act as one of the Company experts in the field of ABPI Code compliance, revision, and certification of disease-related/product material and activities to ensure compliance with the ABPI code.

Qualifications:

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related medical or scientific field.

An advanced degree (e.g., PharmD or MD) is required.

Current final signatory is highly preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.

1-2+ years of experience as a medical advisor/final signatory in a head office setting.

Direct experience of working in or a strong clinical background in Neurology.

Clear understanding of the compliance and regulatory requirements.
