About this opportunity
The QC Supervisor will lead the Quality Control team responsible for Incoming Inspection and Leak Testing of equipment, panels, controllers, enclosures, UHP/HP components, and related parts. This role ensures that inspection activities comply with approved specifications, quality control plans, safety requirements, and applicable procedures. The QC Supervisor will also oversee inspection prioritization, quality issue escalation, supplier quality coordination, inspection records, and continuous improvement activities to support customer delivery, product reliability, and compliance.
Your role
Lead and supervise Incoming Inspection and Leak Testing activities, including inspection and quality decisions for controllers, enclosures, panels, UHP/HP parts, and other components.
Oversee visual, dimensional, functional, HI-POT, insulation resistance, surface roughness, helium leak, pressure, regulator functional, Inboard, Outboard, and Internal Leak Testing.
Review inspection results, inspection reports, quality records, and SAP quality data.
Lead nonconformance management, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
Coordinate quality issues with suppliers and cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Supply Chain.
Ensure the calibration status of inspection and testing equipment and maintain safe operating conditions.
Train and develop team members, standardize work processes, and drive continuous improvement.
Support internal, customer, supplier, and regulatory audits.
Who you are
Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
At least 5 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or manufacturing quality.
At least 2 years of experience leading or supervising a quality team.
Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings, purchase specifications, inspection criteria, and tolerances.
Experience with Incoming Inspection of mechanical or electrical components or industrial equipment.
Experience with nonconformance management, quality notifications, corrective actions, and supplier quality issues.
Experience using SAP QM or an equivalent quality management system.
Strong safety awareness when working with high voltage, high-pressure gas, and industrial testing equipment.
