THE OPPORTUNITY
As our new Quality Assurance (QA) Officer you will support batch release activities and ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards. Working under the delegation of the Qualified Person (QP), you will ensure that manufacturing and packaging records are reviewed accurately and on time, enabling compliant and timely product release to market.
This position is based in Koropi (Greece) and reports directly to the QA Coordinator (Batch Release) .
Please note that this is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support and review batch release processes under the delegation of the Qualified Person (QP)
Ensure all batch documentation is complete, accurate, traceable, and compliant prior to release
Follow batch documentation flow through review, approval, and archival stages
Review and issue Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) and Certificates of Conformance (CoCs)
Upload and maintain release documentation in global quality systems
Align daily activities with production, packaging, and supply chain schedules to ensure timely product release
Participate in SOP creation, review, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with current GMPs and applicable regulatory requirements.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM
University equivalent Diploma in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
Initial professional experience (1–2 years) in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, or GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
Working knowledge of SAP or/and other computerized systems (e.g., Trackwise).
Familiarity with batch documentation review processes and attention to detail.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and compliance.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and handle demanding deadlines.
