Responsibilities:
Support the strategic and tactical brand planning processes across the GI Oncology Franchise
Partner closely with the marketing and cross-functional teams to support key 2027 priorities across the GI Oncology Franchise, including MATTERHORN commercialization, expanded digital engagement in BTC, development of a new uHCC plan, and CLARITY-related initiatives based on evolving business needs.
Working closely with marketing colleagues in the development and execution of promotional materials and activities
Support the cross-functional team to deliver key projects by gathering and analyzing data, contributing in meetings and executing various tasks
Creatively and analytically develop solutions to issues as identified with a strong focus on simplification initiatives
Working with the marketing and cross-functional brand team to develop competitive benchmarking and conducting clinical reviews of comparative products
Support in sales meeting development, workshop execution, and training initiatives
Leading the coordination of the AstraZeneca Oncology presence at National and International medical conferences, including working with Medical, Diagnostics, Sales, Access and Marketing to ensure a coordinated plan
Serving as a key liaison between the sales team and the head office Marketing team to bring insights into action
Support GI team culture and engagement initiatives that strengthen connection, belonging and team identity, including pulse checks, internal communications, recognition activities and other culture-building programs.
Qualifications:
University Degree or Higher in relevant field (Business, Science)
Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Strong Problem Solving and analytical skills; solutions oriented
Ability to participate in collaborative teamwork
Strong communication skills: writing and presentation
Self-starter, initiative, ability to work in dynamic environments
Ability to have fun and not take themselves too seriously!
Available to work from January 2027 to December 2027

What to Expect:
This role is a 12-month paid contract position, which starts in January 2026 and will end in December 2027. Our position will be based in our Mississauga head office and allow for flexible working arrangements working both onsite and virtually.

Annual base salary for this position ranges from 42,908.00 to 56,316.75. AstraZeneca is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all colleagues. Our compensation policies and practices have been designed to allow colleagues to progress through the salary range over time as they progress in their role. The range provided in this posting represents an offer pay range used in a majority of situations. The base pay offered will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs. In some cases, offers outside the range may also be considered to address unique circumstances.
In addition, our permanent positions offer an annual Variable Pay Bonus/Short Term Incentive opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (if applicable to role). Benefits offered for permanent roles include a competitive Flex Benefits & Retirement Savings Program, 4 weeks’ paid vacation, and annual Personal Days. Fixed Term Contract/Temporary positions (excluding students) are offered a Contract Benefits Program.
