In this position, the colleague will lead the cross-functional launch team and orchestrate the successful introduction of new products across LATAM markets. This role is responsible for ensuring launch readiness from early planning through market handoff and launch preparation, aligning global, regional and local stakeholders, accelerating speed-to-market, and enabling successful product introductions.

The role will partner closely with Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, Finance, Business Development, Commercial and Supply Chain teams to drive execution excellence, identify opportunities and risks proactively and ensure effective launch readiness and market preparedness across the region.

Main Responsibilities:

Lead the new product introduction process from opportunity assessment through launch readiness, ensuring markets are prepared for successful product introduction

Coordinate cross functional teams including medical, marketing, digital, commercial, sales, access, supply, regulatory, finance and EM management to localize launch strategy, establish milestones and drive readiness objectives

Develop and maintain launch readiness frameworks, governance models and playbooks to support consistent asset implementation across LATAM markets

Define and align launch and go-to-market readiness plans with country leaders, ensuring local adaptation while maintaining regional strategic consistency

Identify innovation opportunities, market trends and portfolio gaps to support future asset planning and prioritization

Partner with the Business Development team to assess portfolio opportunities and provide strategic market and competitive insights

Ensure standardization and continuous improvement of launch processes (launch excellence)

Manage timelines, risks, and dependencies across areas

Facilitate launch readiness assessments and incorporate best practices into future launch playbooks

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is preferred

Experience: Solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including strategic marketing, new product planning, launch readiness, portfolio management, project management, or related commercial roles. Proven track record of innovation, strategic planning and execution in complex business environments. Strong financial acumen and understanding of business performance drivers. Experience leveraging market, customer and competitive insights to support strategic decision-making. Leadership of cross-functional projects and managing multiple stakeholders. Exposure to launch management, product management, project management, or launch readiness processes.

Languages: Fluency in English required; Spanish language skills is a plus.

Management Skills:

Strong ability to influence and collaborate across a matrix organization, building effective relationships with cross-functional and regional stakeholders

Strategic mindset with the ability to translate strategy into actionable launch readiness plans

Strong project management, prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Ability to lead and align cross-functional teams without direct authority

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse perspectives and drive decisions across regional and local teams

Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation, insight generation and effective communication of recommendations

Comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing risk and driving decisions in a fast-paced environment
