Where do you want to go?

We have an opportunity to join our Pharma team as a Medical Sales Representative – Primary Care (GP) for Cardiorenal portfolio covering QLD, focused primarily on BNE West / QLD West to promote market leading medicine that improves the lives of thousands of patients each year.

In this field-based role, you'll be the local face of Bayer, building trusted relationships with General Practitioners and Pharmacists to ethically influence and maximise Doctor prescribing Bayer products within a defined territory while helping improve patient outcomes.

We are looking for an energetic and ambitious graduate or experienced infield sales representative to build a career in Pharmaceutical Sales. You’ll bring strong relationship-building skills, a growth mindset, and a passion for improving people’s health. This role offers the opportunity to further develop your commercial capabilities while working with market-leading medicines and a supportive, high-performing team.

Build trusted partnerships with General Practitioners and Pharmacists to support improved patient outcomes.

Develop and execute agile 90-day territory plans to drive growth and maximise opportunities.

Use customer insights, sales data, and analytics to identify needs and deliver value-based solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address healthcare challenges and enhance the customer experience.

Leverage digital tools and CRM systems to effectively manage customer engagement and territory performance.

Maintain high standards of compliance, product knowledge, and ethical engagement in line with industry and company requirements.

Essential Experience

Full, unrestricted work rights in Australia.

Minimum 2 years' experience in a field-based role.

Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills.

Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Ability to learn and apply clinical, product, and market knowledge.

Demonstrated ability to plan and manage customer activities within a geographical territory.

Experience using CRM systems and digital tools to support customer engagement and performance.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously.

Comfortable with driving distances within the territory; occasional interstate and regional travel may be required.

Ability to interpret data and identify opportunities to improve territory performance.

 

Highly Regarded

Experience initiating strong relationships and calling on General Practitioners, Pharmacists, or other healthcare professionals.

Tertiary qualifications in Science, Pharmacy, Nursing, Health Sciences, Business, or Marketing.

Knowledge of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct.

Experience with Veeva CRM or similar CRM platforms.

Experience developing territory plans and managing customer priorities.
