We are looking for a strong Media Manager who will become a media partner for our brands: translating business objectives into well‑thought‑out media strategies, managing 360° campaigns (TV + digital) and helping the business make data‑driven decisions rather than relying on intuition.
You will:
Build media strategies
aligned with brand objectives: target audience, channel roles, KPIs, budget and media mix;
manage 360° campaigns (TV, digital, video, social, programmatic, search, OOH) from planning to performance evaluation;
work with media metrics and placement economics (GRP/TRP, Reach, Frequency, CPM/CPP, etc.);
analyze data, prepare reports and presentations with clear insights and recommendations for the business;
critically assess agency media plans and media partners’ proposals;
apply BI, digital analytics, A/B testing and AI tools to optimize media performance;
collaborate cross‑functionally with brand, marketing, sales and e‑commerce, maintaining a high level of ownership and proactivity.
Who we are looking for:
3+ years of experience in a media agency (Media Planner / Media Buyer / Account / Digital Manager or similar role). Client‑side experience is an advantage.
Hands‑on experience with 360° campaigns, with a focus on TV planning & buying and digital channels.
Strong analytical skills; confidence in working with data, reports and presenting results.
Understanding of digital analytics and attribution; basic knowledge of Google Analytics, ad platforms and BI tools.
Interest in new media, formats and technologies; experience with AI tools is desirable.
Strong communication and presentation skills; organized, responsible, able to manage several projects in parallel.
Will be an advantage:
Experience in FMCG, Pharma / Healthcare / Beauty / Dermo‑Cosmetics and working with consumer and HCP audiences.
Understanding of pharma regulations.
Skills in Power BI / Tableau and advanced Excel; experience with A/B tests and effectiveness evaluation (media mix, ROI, MMM).
Working English for international projects; knowledge of Kazakh is a plus.
Personal qualities:
Analytical mindset, business thinking, communication maturity, flexibility and proactivity. Adaptability to change, solution orientation, unconventional thinking in media tasks, fast learning, and a strong sense of ownership.

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
