Reporting to the Executive Director, US Business Strategy Lead, this role provides research, business insights, benchmarking, dashboarding, and project-management support that enables strategic decision-making across critical business initiatives.The successful candidate will transform data into actionable insights, support executive storytelling, and help drive strategy execution through structured analysis and fact-based recommendations.
Key ResponsibilitiesGather, clean, analyze, and synthesize data supporting strategic planning and enterprise decision-making.Conduct market, competitor, customer, partnership, operating model, and performance analyses.Develop executive-ready dashboards, reports, presentations, and fact packs.Support workshop preparation, stakeholder interviews, meeting documentation, and action tracking.Create concise insights and recommendations that inform strategic priorities and business opportunities.Maintain knowledge repositories, benchmark libraries, and standardized strategic planning tools.Identify data inconsistencies, unsupported assumptions, and gaps in business analyses.Support the development of executive communications and strategic presentations.Essential RequirementsBachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience in strategy, consulting, commercial operations, business analytics, finance, market research, innovation, or related functions.Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, data visualization tools, and analytical methodologies.Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.Excellent project coordination and organizational skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience working with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Fluency in English required.Pharmaceutical, healthcare, consulting, commercial analytics, or strategy operations experience strongly preferred.Commitment to Diversity & InclusionNovartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Accessibility and accommodationNovartis is committed to work with and provide reasonable accommodation to individuals with disabilities.
