About this opportunity

Enterprise IT & Quality

Company: Novo Nordisk Global Business Services (GBS)

Are you ready to shape the future of pharma marketing automation? Step into a pivotal role where you will lead the transformation of our marketing ecosystem from Salesforce Marketing Cloud to Salesforce Agentforce – and put AI-driven customer engagement at the heart of how we reach healthcare professionals around the world.

Your new role

As Lead Product Owner, you will drive the development, maintenance and strategic transformation of our Pharma Marketing Automation platform. You will own the vision, roadmap and execution strategy for migrating from legacy Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to Salesforce Agentforce Marketing Automation – ensuring seamless migration, continuous delivery and maximum value realisation. Working with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Data and external partners, you will deliver next-generation capabilities that enhance customer engagement, operational efficiency and business growth.

Day-to-day your tasks will include:

Translating high-level business requirements into clear, prioritised user stories, defining acceptance criteria and refining backlog details with the development team

Collaborating with the Product Management team and stakeholders to define and prioritise the product backlog and align on future vision and goals

Overseeing data mapping, migration planning and integration design across CRM, Marketing, Analytics and Customer Data Platforms, partnering with data teams to strengthen reporting, attribution and marketing intelligence

Identifying opportunities to leverage Agentforce capabilities – including AI-driven personalisation, workflow automation and advanced segmentation – and adopting an automation/AI-first approach where appropriate

Leading cross-team enablement, training programmes, documentation and best practices to drive strong adoption of Agentforce tools and workflows

Representing Enterprise IT as the techno-functional SPOC for product vision and strategy in internal and external forums, and participating actively in sprint ceremonies

Monitoring user feedback and system performance post-launch to drive continuous improvement, and mentoring the team to build technical and functional acumen

Your new department

In Enterprise IT & Quality, you will be part of a business area that drives impact across the full Novo Nordisk value chain. We strive to stay close to our stakeholders in the business to ensure we deliver on their needs, helping reach millions of people living with serious chronic diseases. Our focus is on being at the forefront within our three areas; ensuring the highest quality for patients, being a trusted tech leader and an environmentally responsible business.

You will join the Customer Engagement Technologies (CET) team, within Enterprise IT – Veeva & Ecosystem, which drives the strategy, development and delivery of connected, data-driven commercial solutions. Partnering closely with Customer Engagement and Medical business stakeholders, the team enables seamless, orchestrated engagement journeys and empowers data-informed decision-making to create differentiated experiences for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a forward-thinking product leader who combines deep marketing technology expertise with a passion for AI-powered customer experience. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Marketing Technology Owner, CRM Product Manager or equivalent role – preferably within the Pharma/Life Sciences domain – along with a proven track record of leading large-scale platform transformations or re-architecting marketing automation ecosystems

Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and familiarity with migration/modernisation into Salesforce Agentforce, together with a strong understanding of customer journeys, lifecycle marketing, lead nurturing, segmentation, automation and multi-channel operations (including journey orchestration and channels such as WhatsApp and SMS)

Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and a strong understanding of IT systems, the software development lifecycle and data security principles, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements

Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum/Hybrid delivery environments and a track record in digital product ownership, coupled with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, and excellent communication, storytelling and stakeholder-management skills in English

Nice to have: Salesforce certifications (e.g. Marketing Cloud Consultant, Admin or equivalent), familiarity with Einstein/Agentforce AI capabilities, understanding of prompt engineering basics, knowledge of how Data Cloud unifies customer data, and familiarity with multi-step journey orchestration

You operate with a high degree of independence, bring strategic thinking and an innovation mindset, and thrive on managing ambiguity, driving clarity and championing a safe and ethical approach to AI.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
