As an International Trade Analyst, you will play a key role in helping Novartis navigate the complexities of international trade while enabling the efficient movement of materials and products across global markets. Working with colleagues across regions and functions, you will apply your expertise in customs and trade compliance to support business operations, mitigate risk, and ensure adherence to international regulations. Key Responsibilities:Ensuring accurate customs classification of materials within global scope.Excellent understanding and origin determinationManage activities related to Post-entry import and export declaration checksSupport collection, analysis and submission of the Key Performance Indicators from Novartis businesses to Global CTC functionAdvising business partners on customs classification and international trade compliance requirements.Preparing and presenting reports on customs and trade compliance matters.Supporting collection, analysis, and submission of trade compliance key performance indicators.Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations.Identifying and escalating compliance risks to management and Global Customs and Trade Compliance teams.Contributing to continuous improvement of customs and trade compliance processes.Supporting Health, Safety and Environment requirements and professional development objectives.Essential Requirements:University degree in Economics, Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain, or another relevant field.Minimum 3 years of experience in an international trade, customs, or trade compliance function.Strong knowledge of origin determination, customs regulations.Experience with customs classification and international trade compliance processesProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Fluent written and spoken English.Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and levels.Desirable Requirements:Experience working within a global or multinational organization.Knowledge of international export licensing processes and trade compliance reporting.We offer a temporary employment.At Novartis, we’re committed to reimagining medicine together - and rewarding the people who make it happen.Benefits & Rewards Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: 606.970,00 - 1.127.230,00 CZK.The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.Pay equity is a fundamental principle of our employment policy and reflects our commitment to create a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment that treats all employees with dignity and respect, as outlined in our Code of Ethics.Read our brochure to learn more about our global total rewards offering: https://www.novartis.com/sites/novartis_com/files/novartis-life-handbook.pdfWhat you will receiveMonthly pension contribution matching your individual contribution up to 3% of your gross monthly base salary; Risk Life Insurance (full cost covered by Novartis); 5-week holiday per year; (1 week above the Labour Law requirement); 4 paid sick days within one calendar year in case of absence due to sickness without a medical sickness report; Cafeteria employee benefit program – choice of benefits from Benefit Plus Cafeteria in the amount of 17,500 CZK per year; Meal vouchers in amount of 105 CZK for each working day (full tax covered by company); Public Transportation Allowance; MultiSport Card, Employee Share Purchase Plan.
