About this opportunity

.

Your impact begins here

As GLP QA Professional, you will help make sure non-clinical research at Novo is carried out to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards. You will oversee studies, inspect internal and external work, and turn what you see into clear, practical recommendations that keep research reliable and moving. You will shape how quality is built into non-clinical processes, strengthening the foundation for treatments for people living with serious chronic diseases.

What you’ll bring

You bring a balanced, practical quality mindset. You work systematically and independently, take initiative and stay flexible when priorities change. To succeed in this role, you have:

Experience as a laboratory technician and relevant qualification, or a master’s degree in science, pharmacy, medicine or a similar field.

Experience within GLP, for example from quality assurance, GLP-regulated work, non-clinical research or laboratory activities.

Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and the ability to interpret and communicate regulatory and procedural requirements.

Strong analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work systematically and independently.

Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build constructive relationships with internal colleagues and external Contract Research Organisations (CROs).

Proficiency in written and spoken English, and confidence in communicating observations, recommendations and quality matters.

Desirable, but not essential:

Experience from industrial drug development.

What you’ll do

You will be the quality partner for GLP-regulated activities, helping colleagues and CROs meet requirements while keeping study quality and compliance protected.

Perform quality oversight and compliance verification of GLP-regulated activities, including review of study plans, reports, relevant SOPs and documentation from internal areas and external CROs.

Plan and conduct study-based and process-based internal inspections, including Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) activities where relevant.

Support stakeholders on GLP requirements and general quality matters, including review of GLP action plans from internal and external audits.

Contribute to maintaining and improving the department’s QMS, including harmonisation, digitalisation and simplification initiatives.

Communicate observations, regulatory requirements and practical quality recommendations clearly to internal and external stakeholders, and take part in relevant projects, audits and regulatory inspections.

Who you’ll work with

You will join Non-Clinical Quality, a diverse team of 15 skilled colleagues in Søborg. It is one of two sister departments within Process Management, Non-Clinical, IT & AI Quality, part of R&D Quality. In R&D, curiosity, data, collaboration and operational excellence come together to advance scientific ideas towards clinical testing, and Non-Clinical Quality helps make sure the processes behind that work are fit for purpose.

The team provides QMS expertise to a global organisation and works closely with stakeholders across the value chain. You will have many interfaces: research and laboratory colleagues in internal areas, external CROs and other collaboration partners, and teams across the organisation working on improvement projects.

You will work in an international environment where clear communication helps you build trust, create clarity around requirements and keep work moving. Some travel may be required for audits and other GLP QA activities.

What you can expect here

You will build your GLP expertise and take on increasing responsibility, with room to influence how quality is embedded in non-clinical research processes. Alongside day-to-day oversight, you will contribute to cross-organisational improvement projects and share ideas that improve methods, systems and processes.

You will be supported to perform at your best, trusted to work independently and encouraged to make your voice heard. You will grow through practical experience, close collaboration with colleagues and continuous learning.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
