What you will do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role, the Director, Global Marketing - Repatha will play a central role in shaping and executing the global commercial strategy for one of Amgen's leading cardiovascular brands. The Director will help maximize Repatha's long-term value by translating deep customer, market, clinical, access, competitive, and business insights into clear strategic choices; advancing the Global Brand Plan; and ensuring strong commercialization and execution across global markets.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Global Marketing Lead - Repatha, this role will lead major global brand priorities including VESALIUS-CV commercialization and launch readiness, lifecycle growth strategy, competitive preparedness, brand positioning and messaging, and global-to-local execution. The Director will partner closely with Global Medical, Development, Access, Regulatory, Commercial Data & Analytics, Forecasting, Finance, regional teams, affiliates, and external partners to strengthen Repatha's leadership in an increasingly dynamic LDL-C treatment landscape.

Key responsibilities include:

Shape and execute Repatha's global commercial strategy and Global Brand Plan, integrating customer, market, clinical, access, competitive, and financial insights into clear priorities, strategic choices, and lifecycle growth opportunities.

Lead commercialization and launch readiness for VESALIUS-CV and future evidence or indication expansions, ensuring new clinical evidence is translated into differentiated strategy, customer value, messaging, affiliate preparation, and measurable market impact.

Own and evolve Repatha's global customer and brand strategy, including priority customer segments, patient and HCP journeys, behavioral objectives, positioning, value proposition, strategic narrative, and core messaging as the market and competitive landscape evolve.

Lead competitive strategy and preparedness across current and emerging LDL-C therapies, identifying market inflection points and translating competitive intelligence into proactive strategic responses, affiliate guidance, and business recommendations.

Drive global-to-local execution by partnering with regional and affiliate teams to integrate market insight, establish clear strategic guardrails, enable appropriate local adaptation, and scale best practices across priority markets.

Lead highly matrixed cross-functional teams and major strategic workstreams, aligning Commercial, Medical, Development, Access, Regulatory, Commercial Data & Analytics, Forecasting, Finance, regions, affiliates, agencies, and other partners around shared priorities, decisions, timelines, and accountability.

Use customer, market, performance, and financial evidence to optimize strategy and investment, establish meaningful KPIs, identify execution gaps, and recommend resource and investment tradeoffs to maximize long-term brand value.

Champion innovative and AI-enabled ways of working across insight generation, competitive intelligence, content development, performance measurement, and global-to-local workflows while ensuring appropriate judgment, accuracy, compliance, and business relevance.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
