Job Description:

Summary

The Director, ONIVYDE Patient and Omnichannel Marketing, is a key strategic leadership role within the Oncology Business Unit. Metastatic pancreatic cancer treatment landscape is expected to be dynamic with potential new options for patients in the future, and this role will be responsible for developing and executing patient-focused and omnichannel marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, initiation, persistence, and advocacy for ONIVYDE.

This individual will lead the development of a comprehensive patient engagement strategy across the ONIVYDE treatment journey, ensuring patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers receive timely, relevant and coordinated support. The director will also be responible for designing and implementing integrated omnichannel campaigns across digital and non-personal promotion channels, leveraging customer insights, analytics and latest AI technologies to optimize customer experience and business outcomes.

The director will partner closely with brand marketing, medical affairs, patient services, advocacy organizations, data and analytics, legal, regulatory, and other cross-functional partners, while managing agencies and vendors, to ensure seamless and compliant patient experience. They will also be responsible for collaborating with the data and insights team to track KPIs and adjust tactics in alignment with brand goals. Finally, the director will play a key role in potential upcoming launches in the future.

The successful candidate will bring a strong patient-first mindset, deep omnichannel marketing expertise, commercial oncology experience, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex matrix environment.

Main responsibilities / job expectations

Patient Marketing Leadership

Lead development and execution of the ONIVYDE patient marketing strategy aligned with brand objectives and franchise goals.

Develop patient and caregiver segmentation, insights generation and journey mapping within an evolving mPDAC space to improve awareness and education.

As part of brand planning, develop positioning, messaging and value proposition for patients and caregiver audiences.

Expertly lead the development and submission of promotional materials through the PRC process, collaborating closely with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory partners to ensure all patient-facing tactics are compliant, high-quality, and on time.

Oversee the creation and management of patient-focused content across various channels, including digital, print, and social media, ensuring messaging is clear, empathetic, and informative.

Create and deliver educational materials and programs that inform patients and healthcare providers about ONIVYDE, its benefits, and its proper use.

Build and maintain relationships with patient advocacy organizations and relevant external stakeholders

Ensuring compliant execution of all promotional activities

Omnichannel Strategy and Execution

Lead development and implementation of an integrated omnichannel engagement strategy across HCP, patient, and caregiver audiences.

Design and optimize connected customer journeys across owned, earned, and paid channels.

Oversee patient CRM strategy, email marketing, websites, social media, digital media, search including SEO and GEO, display and emerging channels.

Partner closely with omnichannel excellence and data & analytics teams to implement personalized engagement strategies and next-best action solutions.

Lead media strategy development and optimization with digital AOR.

Optimize channel mix and marketing investment through continuous monitoring of KPIs, and regular performance evaluations including MBRs and QBRs.

Identify innovative digital solutions and engagement opportunities to enhance customer experience and brand performance

Partner with brand and data & analytics teams to establish KPI frameworks and performance measurement plans.

Develop executive-level performance updates and strategic recommendations.

Cross Functional Leadership

Collaborate with:

Brand marketing teams to ensure alignment of HCP and patient strategies

Medical affairs to ensure scientific accuracy and appropriate patient education

Legal, regulatory and compliance to ensure all promotional activities are compliant.

Data and analytics teams to drive customer insights, measurement strategies and optimization of marketing investment.

External creative, media, and digital agencies

Cross-functional leadership skills and proven track record of building and executing marketing plans in collaboration with multiple cross-functional partners are critical in this role.

Knowledge, abilities & experience

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent, MS/MBA preferred

Proven cross-functional leadership skills to lead across a complex matrix

At least 15 years commercial experience with a Bachelor’s or 12 years with a Master’s degree; minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology commercial marketing experience

Successful Oncology launch planning experience highly preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to influence others

Ability to work with multiple internal cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously

Demonstrated consistent track record of success

Strong scientific/medical aptitude with ability to translate complex science into clear patient education

Significant experience in, and knowledge of specialty oncology with complex science and reimbursement

Demonstrated success in project, vendor, and large budget management to maximize marketing ROI.

Extensive experience working within an environment of strict compliance, proven ability to expertly navigate the PRC process to successfully design and execute patient and omnichannel tactics

Excellent written and verbal skills and strong interpersonal communication skills

Willingness/ability to travel domestically.  International travel may be required

The annual base salary range for this position is $191,000 - $280,000.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentives program.

The pay range displayed above is the range of base pay compensation within which Ipsen expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and demonstrated skills.
