About the role
We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded, and results-driven Director of Digital Marketing to lead and scale our global B2B digital marketing function. This role will set the digital strategy, translate business priorities into integrated programmes, and drive measurable growth across demand generation, customer engagement, pipeline, and revenue.
The Director will own digital marketing performance and the enabling data and technology ecosystem, partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, Communications, and IT, and champion the responsible adoption of AI-enabled capabilities to improve customer experience, marketing effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the global B2B digital marketing vision, strategy, operating model, and roadmap in support of commercial priorities
Lead integrated digital demand generation and customer engagement programmes across paid, owned, and earned channels
Own digital marketing performance, budget allocation, forecasting, and optimisation against pipeline, revenue, and customer engagement goals
Own and optimise the global martech ecosystem, including Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to enable scalable execution and insight
Build strong cross-functional alignment with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, Communications, and IT to ensure cohesive customer journeys and seamless lead-to-revenue processes
Establish and govern campaign planning, measurement, multi-touch attribution, reporting, and test-and-learn standards across markets and programmes
Set the strategy for SEO, AEO, GEO, PPC, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, website performance, and conversion rate optimisation
Champion the responsible adoption of AI across marketing, including predictive analytics, automation, personalisation, content optimisation, and workflow integration
Use customer, campaign, and market data to identify growth opportunities, improve segmentation, and guide investment decisions
Lead agency and technology partner relationships, including selection, governance, performance management, and commercial oversight
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing digital marketing team while building strong digital capabilities across the wider marketing organisation
Ensure digital marketing activities comply with applicable data privacy, consent, accessibility, and brand governance requirements
Required Qualifications
Extensive progressive experience in B2B digital marketing, demand generation, or marketing operations, including significant leadership responsibility
Proven experience developing and executing global digital marketing strategies that deliver measurable pipeline, revenue, and customer engagement outcomes
Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, prioritising investment, and communicating performance to senior stakeholders
Deep expertise in Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and enterprise martech ecosystems
Proven track record of establishing marketing measurement, ROI, attribution, and executive reporting frameworks
Broad expertise across SEO, AEO, GEO, PPC, paid social, marketing automation, website optimisation, and conversion strategy
Demonstrated success partnering with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, Communications, and IT to accelerate growth
Strong leadership presence, people management capability, and experience influencing across a complex matrix organisation
Proven ability to lead change and responsible AI transformation within marketing, including automation, predictive modelling, segmentation, and personalisation
Strong understanding of evolving digital discovery behaviours, generative search, AI search engines, data privacy, and consent management
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, vendor management, and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in health tech, life sciences, SaaS, or another regulated enterprise environment
Experience leading through organisational growth, transformation, or the build-out of a global digital marketing capability
Experience with APIs, integrations, data platforms, and advanced automation tools
Knowledge of data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, and their application to B2B digital marketing
Experience managing agencies, strategic partners, and enterprise technology vendors
