Regeneron is looking for a Director of U.S. Market Access Strategy for Neurology. This individual must be able to develop and implement strategies and tactics to secure and maintain optimal reimbursement and market access for our novel siRNA C5 inhibitor for generalized Myasthenia Gravis (gMG) and future Neurology indications. This individual will operate with a high degree of autonomy in setting Neurology market access strategy, will bring deep market access strategy and payer marketing expertise, and will represent Market Access on the Neurology franchise leadership team, shaping franchise-level investment and portfolio decisions.

Major responsibilities include but are not limited to new indication development, price and contracting strategy, payer value proposition development, payer positioning and message development, sales force pull-through tactics, partner engagement planning, patient and physician services coordination, HEOR initiatives, and public affairs alignment.

Duties will include working closely with the Executive Director, Market Access and cross-functional staff including brand marketing, sales and field reimbursement leadership, patient support services, health economics & outcomes, medical and market research, trade, account management, and new product development to ensure market access strategic alignment with projects and to gain input on payer workstreams. Duties also include working with market access strategy counterparts across Regeneron brands.

The Regeneron commercial team prides itself on creating a skilled and collaborative cross-functional environment. As a U.S. market access strategy team member for the Neurology franchise, the Senior Director will work closely with global counterparts and co-lead global market access strategy alignment with international counterparts, ensuring US launch and access findings to inform global strategy and vice versa, through ex-U.S. informational exchanges, project collaborations, and annual business planning.

In the office in Sleepy Hollow, NY and up to 30% travel required

Developing, implementing, and/or aligning the annual strategic and tactical business plan for US and Global markets across gMG and future Neurology indications

Implementing both short-term and long-term payer/HTA strategies and tactics in support of developing and driving tactics to support marketing efforts

Leading payer and key partner market access research initiatives, both within the Neurology therapeutic area as well as franchise-wide initiatives, and translating insights into portfolio level investment recommendations for franchise and enterprise leadership

Leading the development and implementation of indication initiatives including the payer value story for gMG and pipeline Neurology indications, field training and pull-through programs, clinical and economic customer education materials, and market access programs

Developing field-level data tools and analytic capabilities to enhance local business planning and execution effectiveness

Managing promotional budgets and developing metrics to measure return on investment against key initiatives.

Managing internal processes such as promotional review committee submissions and advisory board coordination

Providing market access strategy input into pipeline and business development/licensing due diligence for Neurology assets

This role requires:

Bachelor’s Degree minimum MBA/MHA or other graduate level program such as PharmD preferred

12+ years of progressive industry relevant professional experience

7+ years of experience in a market access functional role, payer account management, brand marketing, field sales/reimbursement management, or HEOR is preferred; 3+ years of market access strategy and payer marketing experience is strongly preferred

Direct experience working for a managed care health plan or PBM is highly desirable

Must have strong knowledge of the payer and HTA landscape and current trends

Experience in Neurology, Rare Disease, or Neuromuscular diseases is strongly preferred; gMG experience is a plus

Experience in specialty products and specialty product launches required

Knowledge of patient/physician hub services and specialty pharmacy networks a plus

Strong leadership skills and ability to influence/lobby internal and affiliate decision-makers
