Position Summary

As Director, HCP Marketing, Oncology – Lung, you will lead the development and execution of the US HCP and APP marketing strategy, driving launch readiness and establishing a differentiated position within a competitive oncology landscape. This role will own end-to-end HCP marketing – from customer and market insights through positioning, messaging strategy, asset development, execution and optimization – to deliver compelling customer experiences and measurable business impact.

You will translate clinical evidence, customer insights and evolving market dynamics into differentiated value propositions, integrated engagement strategies and high impact marketing initiatives. You will partner closely with Sales, Medical, Market Access, Insights & Analytics, Global Marketing and other cross-functional partners to ensure alignment of strategy and execution and deliver a successful US launch.

Key Responsibilities

Lead HCP Strategy and APP Strategy owning the integrated US HCP Marketing Strategy and Tactical Plan, including customer journey, positioning, value proposition, message strategy and key initiative required to drive education, trial, adoption, and sustained use across oncologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other key treatment decision makers.

Develop and Execute an integrated HCP customer experience, leveraging segmentation, targeting, customer insights and data to deliver relevant and differentiated engagement across personal, digital, omnichannel, peer-to-peer, and other channels.

Lead HCP Asset Strategy and Execution, including development of core promotional campaigns, field-facing resources and other HCP marketing initiatives, while managing agency partners and ensuring high-quality, compliant execution aligned with brand strategy and business objectives.

Drive Cross-Functional Leadership and insight generation, partnering across Sales, Medical, Market Access, Insights & Analytics, Global Marketing and other functions to translate customer, field, competitive and market insights into actionable strategies and ensure an integrated external customer experience.

Drive performance and build organizational capacity, establishing measures of success and optimizing HCP marketing based on performance and evolving insights while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation and development across the team and broader cross-functional organization.

Basic Qualifications

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field

4+ years in pharmaceutical marketing, with a minimum of 2+ years of oncology marketing experience

Demonstrated in-line (brand) marketing experience

Experience developing and executing commercial strategy

Experience working with and managing external agencies, vendors and consultants in support of marketing plans and field team needs

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively across a matrix environment and influence with/without formal authority

Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without formal authority

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

MBA, MPH, PharmD, RPh or equivalent advanced degree

Lung cancer experience strongly preferred

Experience leading or supporting a pharmaceutical launch, preferably in oncology

Sales and/or Sales Leadership experience

Experience in community oncology and integrated delivery networks

Demonstrated success developing omnichannel engagement strategies

Experience presenting recommendations to senior and executive leadership
