Key responsibilities

Brand strategy and planning

Develop vaccines portfolio strategies and annual plans across priority vaccines (pediatric, adolescent, adult), aligned with global/regional priorities and Business Unit Director guidance.

Analyze immunization programs, epidemiology, vaccination guidelines, market structure, competitors, access environment and customer insights to identify opportunities and risks for routine and risk-based vaccination.

Define objectives, positioning, key messages and tactical priorities for the vaccines portfolio in public and private/institutional segments.

Brand execution and performance

Lead campaigns, materials, programs and omnichannel initiatives to achieve KPIs on sales, share, coverage, reach and impact for the vaccines portfolio in Egypt.

Monitor brand and portfolio KPIs, tender outcomes and market trends; recommend corrective actions and optimizations of tactics across segments and channels.

Ensure timely, high-quality promotional and non-promotional assets are developed with internal and external partners, following evidence-based brand platforms and vaccination policies.

Cross-functional collaboration

Partner with Medical, Market Access, CGA, Sales, Commercial Excellence/Omnichannel, Regulatory, Supply and other functions on integrated, patient- and population-centric execution for vaccines.

Work with Sales leadership and field teams on call strategies, segmentation, brand messaging and field feedback for pediatric, adolescent, adult and risk-group vaccination.

Contribute to launch planning, lifecycle management and cross-portfolio synergies across vaccines and relevant therapeutic areas.

Governance, compliance and quality

Ensure activities comply with company policies, ABAC, promotional codes and Egyptian regulatory requirements for vaccines and public health communication.

Lead or support Medical/Legal/Regulatory material reviews to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance of vaccines content and programs.

Maintain audit and inspection readiness for vaccines brand activities, tender and contract documentation, and related records.

Customer and stakeholder support

Support HCPs, payers, national immunization stakeholders and institutions with materials, programs and events, in partnership with Sales, Medical, Access and CGA, to improve understanding and implementation of vaccination recommendations.

Use customer, patient and population-health insights to refine messages, channels and tactics to improve acceptance, coverage and appropriate use of vaccines.

Insights, forecasting and budgets

Provide demand-forecasting and financial-planning input for the vaccines portfolio in Egypt, considering epidemiology, seasonality, program decisions, tender dynamics and private-market trends.

Manage vaccines brand and portfolio budgets and resources to maximize impact and ROI under Business Unit Director guidance.

Review market data, performance and insights regularly to optimize portfolio plans, investment mix across brands and segments, and prioritization of initiatives.

Qualifications and experience

Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, medicine, life sciences, business or a related field.

Postgraduate qualifications in business/marketing, public health, epidemiology or health economics is an advantage.

5–7 years of pharmaceutical marketing/brand or vaccines portfolio experience, preferably in vaccines, public health or preventive medicine.

Proven experience in brand/portfolio plan development and execution with strong commercial delivery.

Cross-functional matrix experience; Egypt or similar-market vaccines experience strongly preferred.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
