Für unser Medical Team in der Neurologie suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt erfahrene Unterstützung als:

Therapeutic Area Head Neurology (w/m/d)

Der Therapeutic Area Head Neurology übernimmt die medizinisch-wissenschaftliche Führung des Therapiebereichs Neurologie in Deutschland. Die Position verantwortet die Entwicklung, Priorisierung, Koordination und Umsetzung der medizinischen Strategie sowie aller medizinisch-wissenschaftlichen Aktivitäten im Verantwortungsbereich – in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen auf lokaler, DACH- und globaler Ebene. Sie führt und entwickelt das Neurologie-Team, gewährleistet eine fundierte externe wissenschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und stellt die regelkonforme Umsetzung der Aktivitäten innerhalb der vereinbarten Ressourcen, Zeitpläne und Budgets sicher.

Deine Aufgaben sind:

Medizinisch-wissenschaftliche Leitung des Therapiebereichs Neurologie, Entwicklung und Umsetzung der lokalen Medical-Strategie sowie aktive Mitwirkung im Medical Leadership Team.

Priorisierung, Koordination und Implementierung aller medizinischen und wissenschaftlichen Aktivitäten des Neurologie-Teams, einschließlich klinischer, translationaler und präklinischer Vorhaben.

Disziplinarische Führung, Leistungssteuerung und kontinuierliche Entwicklung der Medical Manager, des MSL Lead Neurology sowie der Assistenzfunktion einschließlich Zielsetzung, Feedback, Talententwicklung und Nachfolgeplanung.

Weiterentwicklung der medizinisch-wissenschaftlichen Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten des Teams in den relevanten neurologischen Indikationen.

Steuerung der medizinischen Inhalte der operativen und strategischen Brand-Pläne sowie Sicherstellung der erfolgreichen Umsetzung und Budget- und Ressourcenallokation in Abstimmung mit dem Head of Medical Affairs DACH und Finance.

Enge Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen, regionalen (DACH) und globalen Partnern, insbesondere Clinical Operations, Global Medical Affairs, Research & Development, Commercial, Marketing, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Quality und Finance.

Planung, Begleitung und Bewertung medizinischer Projekte und Studien sowie angemessene Kommunikation der Ergebnisse und Fortschritte an relevante Stakeholder.

Aufbau, Ausbau und Pflege eines belastbaren Netzwerks mit medizinischen und wissenschaftlichen Expertinnen und Experten, Forschenden, Fachgesellschaften, Institutionen und gesundheitspolitischen Organisationen.

Wissenschaftlich fundierte Vertretung von Ipsen nach außen und Aufbau nachhaltiger medizinisch-wissenschaftlicher Partnerschaften auf Augenhöhe.

Sicherstellung einer qualitativ hochwertigen proaktiven und reaktiven medizinischen Information sowie geeigneter Medical-Education-Aktivitäten im Therapiebereich Neurologie.

Sicherstellung eines fundierten medizinischen Prüf- und Freigabeprozesses für Werbematerialien sowie – sofern übertragen – Wahrnehmung der Funktion als verantwortliche Informationsbeauftragte bzw. verantwortlicher Informationsbeauftragter für den Therapiebereich.

Sicherstellung der Einhaltung aller anwendbaren Gesetze, regulatorischen Vorgaben, Branchen- und Verhaltenskodizes sowie internen Ipsen-Richtlinien und SOPs.

Das bringst du mit:

Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium der Human- oder Tiermedizin oder ein biomedizinischer Hochschulabschluss mit Promotion (z. B. MD oder PhD).

Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der pharmazeutischen Industrie, insbesondere im Bereich Medical Affairs und Neurologie.

Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der erfolgreichen Führung, im Coaching und in der Entwicklung eines medizinisch-wissenschaftlichen Teams.

Fundierte wissenschaftliche und/oder klinische Kenntnisse in der Neurologie bzw. den relevanten neurowissenschaftlichen Indikationen, insbesondere zu Pathogenese, Diagnose, Therapie, Pharmakologie und Arzneimittelsicherheit.

Erfahrung mit der Entwicklung und Umsetzung medizinischer Strategien sowie mit klinischen, translationalen oder präklinischen Studien und wissenschaftlichen Projekten.

Umfassende Kenntnisse der relevanten nationalen und internationalen gesetzlichen und regulatorischen Anforderungen, insbesondere des Arzneimittel- und Heilmittelwerberechts sowie einschlägiger Branchen- und Verhaltenskodizes.

Ausgeprägte strategische, analytische und unternehmerische Denkweise sowie sehr gute Kommunikations-, Führungs- und Stakeholder-Management-Fähigkeiten.

Fähigkeit, Orientierung zu geben, Mitarbeitende zu motivieren und ein leistungsstarkes, kooperatives Arbeitsumfeld zu schaffen.

Fließende Deutsch- sowie sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
