Job Description:
We are searching for the best talent for Senior Sales Manager – Immunology.
Purpose:
The Senior Sales Manager – Immunology is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing sales team to deliver exceptional customer value and sustainable business growth across the assigned Immunology portfolio and geographic coverage in Malaysia.
This role operates with a high level of independence, managing complex business challenges, people leadership responsibilities, and market dynamics while contributing strategic field insights that help shape broader commercial and therapeutic area priorities.
You will be responsible for:
Leading, coaching, and developing sales representatives across the assigned Immunology portfolio to strengthen performance, capability, engagement, succession readiness, and long-term talent development
Owning business performance and sales delivery within the assigned coverage by independently managing field activities, priorities, resources, and execution plans to achieve commercial objectives
Driving consistent achievement of personal and team Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) KPIs through purposeful coaching, performance management, capability building, and ongoing execution support
Translating Business Unit and brand strategies into focused territory and customer plans that address complex market dynamics and maximise business opportunities
Analysing and integrating business performance metrics, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends to identify key business drivers and shape future growth strategies
Partnering closely with Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen brand positioning, prioritise growth opportunities, and optimise customer engagement strategies
Acting as an experienced field leader by sharing best practices, supporting capability development, and providing valuable market perspectives that contribute to broader commercial planning
Exercising sound judgement and ensuring all team activities, customer engagements, and business decisions are conducted in full compliance with applicable regulations, company policies, Johnson & Johnson Credo values, and Leadership Imperatives
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare, Business, or a related discipline
Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in significant pharmaceutical sales leadership experience with demonstrated success in specialty care, biologics, immunology, or related therapeutic areas
Proven track record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams within a competitive and complex healthcare environment
Strong understanding of the Immunology treatment landscape, healthcare ecosystem, customer dynamics, and specialty care market trends or diverse portfolios’ experience would be added advantage.
Demonstrated ability to interpret complex commercial data, customer insights, and market intelligence to drive strategic decision-making and business growth
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and organisational levels
Excellent business acumen, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities with a focus on delivering sustainable results and customer value
Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and effectively balance short-term execution priorities with long-term business objectives
