Job Description:
We are searching for the best talent for Sales Manager – Immunology.
Purpose:
The Sales Manager – Immunology is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of sales representatives to deliver exceptional customer value, drive sustainable business growth, and achieve commercial objectives across the Immunology portfolio in Malaysia.
This role translates business unit priorities into focused field execution, strengthens team capability through effective coaching and performance management, and ensures sales strategies are executed with excellence while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and customer engagement.
You will be responsible for:
Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and building capabilities that support sustained performance and career development
Driving execution of business unit and portfolio strategies to achieve sales, market share, and customer engagement objectives across assigned territories
Managing day-to-day sales operations, field activities, resource allocation, and performance tracking to ensure delivery of business objectives within agreed timelines and budgets
Ensuring achievement of Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) KPIs through structured field coaching, performance reviews, action planning, and continuous capability development
Partnering closely with Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to align customer engagement strategies and maximise portfolio performance opportunities
Monitoring territory performance, customer needs, competitive activity, and market trends, translating insights into actionable territory plans and business recommendations
Maintaining a deep understanding of the Immunology portfolio, treatment landscape, customer dynamics, and healthcare environment to support effective decision-making and coaching
Ensuring all team activities, customer interactions, and business decisions are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations, company policies, and Johnson & Johnson Credo values
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare, Business, or a related discipline
Minimum 3 to 5 years of Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales leadership, specialty care, or healthcare commercial management
Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams within a competitive healthcare environment
Strong understanding of Immunology, specialty care markets, healthcare ecosystems, and customer engagement strategies would be added advantage.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and performance management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve ambitious business goals
Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret market, customer, and performance data to drive strategic actions
Outstanding communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships across functions and organisational levels
Proven ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment while maintaining a strong focus on execution, compliance, and results
