Execute engineering activities (design, implementation, maintenance, etc.) within technical area of expertise by using reliable and cost effective technical solutions, ensuring technical quality to enable the overall site / project objectives.Execute for design, execution and hand-over projects within cost, time schedule, quality and functionality within technical area of responsibility.Job Purpose is responsible for the development and delivery of major capital projects (focusing on aseptic manufacturing equipment), via the application of robust, standardized and effective project management methods aligned with global standards, ensuring that the projects deliver business value in line with Platform and Novartis Technical Operations business objectives.
Major accountabilities:Strategy & Organizational Development:o Prepare monthly engineering reports with key KPIs (Capex, Maintenance, HSE and Quality)o Support internal and external auditso Implement technical standardso Implement GOPso If needed, create regional / site SOPs & templateso Ensure availability of competent, high performing people and develop the talent poolo Implement sharing and leveraging of best practices and expertise in project management and project controllingo Own the Training Curriculum for own Job ProfileVendor & Contractor Management:o Develop contractual strategy and framework to manage vendors / contractors and corresponding contractso Select vendor / contractoro Establish vendor / contractor contracto Follow up project progress/delivery from vendor/contractorProject Engineering & Control:o Develop Project Execution plano Develop project URSo Lead equipment installation, commissioning and qualification.o Plan and organize Project Resourceo Perform project reviews (e.g. Technical Quality Review (TQR), constructability, sustainability, HSE)o Manage investment budget & project portfolioo Lead investment review committeeso Develop and maintain project execution / management standards Key performance indicators:o Highest safety standard implemented during projects and operation s, no critical findings in HSE audits, no LTI and SIF.o GMP/HSE compliance o Project targets fulfillment Minimum Requirements: Work Experience:o more than 3 years working experience in aseptic manufacturing equipment (project, operation, or maintenance).o Operations Management and Execution.
