Senior AI Engagement Manager

Your new role

As a Senior AI Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in helping Lundbeck’s commercial organisation translate our Bionic Bets into tangible outcomes.

Working closely with commercial and cross-functional teams, you will identify high-value opportunities, shape AI-driven strategies and use cases, and guide initiatives from concept through implementation. By connecting business priorities with data, AI, and technology capabilities, you will help ensure that innovative ideas deliver measurable impact at scale.

You are passionate about challenging conventional thinking and exploring how AI can reshape and elevate business domains. At the same time, you understand that successful AI solutions depend on much more than algorithms alone. They require strong foundations across data, engineering, model development, integration, governance, and change management. Your ability to connect these disciplines enables innovative ideas to become scalable, real-world outcomes.

Working alongside a new team of engineers, scientists, and strategists, you will combine technical excellence with a solution-oriented mindset to develop meaningful capabilities for our commercial teams.

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include 

Identify and shape strategic AI opportunities with commercial stakeholders, translating business challenges into technical scalable solutions.

Reinvent traditional commercial process with AI

Lead AI and advanced analytics initiatives from concept through deployment and value realization.

Act as a trusted advisor on AI strategy, capabilities, governance, and implementation approaches.

Translate business needs into product visions, roadmaps, technical requirements, and delivery plans.

Drive the development of cross-functional AI transformation initiatives across commercial functions and business units.

Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagements to align priorities, requirements, and solution designs.

Communicate progress, risks, recommendations, and business value on AI initiatives.

Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with enterprise technology and governance standards.

Stay at the forefront of AI and Generative AI innovations, identifying new opportunities to create business value.

Your future team 

You’ll join You’ll join Global Bionic Commercialisation  newly established Data, Insights and AI team, responsible for establishing a new commercialisation intelligence layer and for building competitively differentiating predictive intelligence loops. We stay close to the business to make sure what we build gets used. The team is young enough that you’ll help shape its culture and ways of working. This is a build-from-scratch opportunity, not a seat on an established team.

The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

What you bring to the team

You will bring

Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Data Science or related field.

+3 years relevant consulting experience in strategy, AI transformation, advisory, or equivalent roles.

Clear communication, across technical and non-technical audiences.

A solid understanding of the end-to-end AI ecosystem and a technical depth in AI or data.

Experience delivering Data, Analytics, Machine Learning, or Generative AI solutions.

Experience working with cross‑functional teams (data engineering, ML engineering, operations).

Strong awareness of ethical and responsible AI practices.

Annual base salary range: 786 000 - 1 081 300 DKK gross

At Lundbeck, we are committed to fair and transparent pay. Please note that the final base salary within the stated range will be based on relevant qualifications, skills, competencies, and level of proficiency as well as internal pay equity.
