What you’ll do
AstraZeneca is looking for a passionate Product Manager to manage our key products and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Rare Disease Franchise. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver impactful business plans, under the guidance of the Franchise Lead. As Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of executing brand strategies, driving marketing initiatives and campaigns, ensuring successful product launches, and securing the best possible positioning for our brands.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and shape the marketing strategy for assigned products, consolidating market insights and competitor intelligence to inform robust business plans.
Collaborate across functions, including sales, public relations, and market access, to develop comprehensive plans at the disease, operational, and campaign levels.
You will play a direct role in achieving sales and marketing objectives while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
Develop and prepare promotional materials in line with company approval processes, working closely with agencies, x-functional team on supporting Key Account Managers through tailored training initiatives. You will also organize and manage marketing events, while partnering with the x-functional team to evaluate and optimize promotional activities.
Monitor product performance regularly, analyzing data and market trends to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decisions.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with Key External Experts and Opinion Leaders in the therapeutic area. In addition, you will prepare sales forecasts in collaboration with the logistics team and engage with international colleagues across AstraZeneca’s global network to align strategies and share best practices.
Your profile
Strong experience in Brand/Product Management, within Rx and /or experience in Product Launches
Strong understanding of the needs of healthcare professionals and patients
Effective stakeholder management skills
Autonomous, proactive, and flexible approach
Demonstrates strong leadership skills with the proven ability to inspire and guide teams toward shared goals
Advanced project management capabilities, ensuring successful planning, execution and completion of initiatives
Has a strong sense of accountability and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
Recognized for initiating new ideas in line with the brand plan and offering effective solutions to complex problems
Excels at cross-functional collaboration, building productive partnerships across diverse teams and disciplines
Fluent English & Native Czech or Slovakian
