About this opportunity
Lead the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of Procurement processes aligned with business needs, compliance, data governance, and SAP S/4HANA capabilities. Act as the key Procurement representative, driving process standardization, governance, deployment, and change management across functions and geographies, while supporting team collaboration and serving as a trusted advisor throughout transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Major accountabilitiesLead the Procurement workstream within LDC transformation and deployment programs, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, and business objectives.Drive procurement process harmonization and standardization across markets, countries, and manufacturing sites in alignment with global standards.Partner with IT, business, and functional teams to design, validate, and deploy SAP S/4HANA procurement solutions.Own procurement business requirements, fit-gap assessments, solution validation, and deployment readiness activities.Lead UAT, business testing, go-live preparation, hypercare, and post-deployment stabilization to ensure successful adoption.Ensure governance, quality, migration, and compliance of procurement master data, while mitigating operational and regulatory risks.Drive change management, training, user readiness, and adoption of new procurement processes, tools, and ways of working.Manage stakeholder relationships and lead the Procurement team by providing direction, coaching, performance oversight, and issue resolution. Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.Extensive experience in Procurement process management, transformation, and global deployment programs.Strong expertise in Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and procurement operational processes.Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Procurement implementations, deployments, or large-scale ERP transformations.Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing global stakeholders in a matrix environment.Strong knowledge of procurement master data governance, internal controls, compliance, and risk management practices.Experience leading UAT, change management, training, business readiness, and go-live activities.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to drive organizational change.Why Novartis?
