Medical Science Liaison (South/East of the Netherlands, NL)

Chiesi is looking for an entrepreneurial and relationship-driven Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join the Respiratory (AIR) business unit, supporting the South-East Netherlands region within the Benelux affiliate.

What will you do?

As a member of the Netherlands MSL team, you are the scientific ambassador of Chiesi in the field and responsible for building strong, trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and scientific experts. You combine scientific expertise with a proactive, opportunity-oriented mindset and know how to translate insights into action.

You enjoy being visible within your region, engaging with stakeholders and expanding your professional network. Through scientific exchange, you contribute to optimizing knowledge of Chiesi's products, therapeutic areas and innovations, while gathering valuable insights that help shape future strategies.

Furthermore, you will:

Engage with leading local and international experts in your therapeutic area, with travel required up to 70% of the time;

Identify, build and strengthen long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, continuously expanding and deepening your network;

Proactively identify opportunities for scientific collaboration and stakeholder engagement within your region;

Gain insight into the evolving needs of healthcare professionals and work together to identify solutions that create value for patients and healthcare systems;

Maintain a high level of scientific expertise and stay up to date with clinical developments, emerging data and trends within your therapeutic area;

Translate complex scientific information into relevant and meaningful discussions with healthcare professionals;

Represent Chiesi at scientific congresses, symposiums and industry events, where you actively engage with stakeholders and build new connections;

Organize and facilitate advisory boards, journal clubs, educational meetings and scientific training sessions;

Gather medical, market and competitor insights from the field and translate these into valuable recommendations for the organization.

Who are we looking for?

Requirements:

Completed medical scientific education at university level and the accompanying working and thinking level, e.g. medicine, pharmacy or life sciences;

> 2 years customer facing experience within healthcare or the pharmaceutical industry (or similar) is preferred;

Experience with building and maintaining a network;

Experience with project-based work and independent project management and coordination;

Driving License;

You live in the South-East of the Netherlands;

You have excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
