Your Role:
At the intersection of scientific excellence and operational precision, this role shapes how medical affairs strategy is executed across one of the world's most dynamic and diverse regions. As the Medical Operations & Quality Lead for JAPAC, you will serve as the central expert driving harmonization, digital innovation, and quality governance across all therapeutic areas, enabling country teams to deliver meaningful impact for healthcare professionals and patients alike.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and rollout of data-driven insight-capture processes, generate and consolidate real-world evidence across the region, and translate findings into actionable intelligence for senior stakeholders. You will own the optimization of medical CRM systems (e.g. Veeva) and digital medical education platforms, while championing digital fluency across the JAPAC medical affairs organization. Acting as the primary regional representative during quality audits and regulatory inspections, you will govern medical standard operating procedures and lead risk management activities to ensure full alignment with global policies. You will also track medical strategy performance and regional budgets, partnering closely with country and regional medical leads to keep execution sharp and accountable.
Who You Are;
Hold a degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or a related field, or bring equivalent professional experience in a medical affairs or healthcare setting.
Have at least 10 years of working experience in the Healthcare industry, with 5 years of experience in a Medical Affairs role, such as Medical Manager or Country Medical Director, combined with three to four years of experience in medical operations at country, regional, or global level.
Have hands-on experience leading product launches and translating medical strategy into operational execution across complex, multi-market environments.
Have a strong command of evidence-based medicine concepts and are confident applying them to real-world evidence generation, insight synthesis, and stakeholder communication.
Experienced with medical CRM systems (e.g. Veeva Systems), digital engagement platforms, and remote interaction tools, and understand how to leverage these to enhance healthcare professional engagement and scientific exchange.
Fluent in English, written and spoken, and bring a solid orientation in healthcare digital, including familiarity with data analytics and AI tools relevant to the healthcare environment.
Skilled communicator and collaborator, able to influence across functions and geographies, navigate ambiguity independently, and produce compelling materials for diverse audiences.
Good knowledge of evolving medical trends across the JAPAC region and the regulatory and quality frameworks that govern medical affairs activities.

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
