The Position
Position Purpose
The Marketing Partner – Digital Solutions drives the commercial success, tender readiness, and market adoption of the navify® digital portfolio within Roche Diagnostics Malaysia.
Bridging commercial strategy, healthcare IT, and digital trust, this role handles marketing, pre-sales support, product evaluations, tender submissions, and customer cybersecurity/data privacy inquiries. You will translate complex digital concepts into compelling commercial value propositions for laboratory leadership, clinicians, and hospital IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing & Portfolio Management
Drive strategic marketing and product lifecycle management for the navify® digital portfolio to drive local adoption and revenue growth in Malaysia.
Translate complex digital and technical concepts into compelling commercial value propositions for both laboratory leadership and enterprise IT executives.
Exercise customer-centric business thinking, addressing customer needs ranging from overarching commercial strategy to complex operational, technical integration, and IT security challenges.
Conduct market intelligence, competitive analysis, and customer segment profiling to identify new growth opportunities across both public and private healthcare sectors.
Lead promotional campaigns, customer workshops, participation in industry congresses, and capability building for local commercial teams to build brand authority in digital health.
2. Pre-Sales, Tender Execution & Security Compliance
Drive end-to-end tender execution and pre-sales engagement, preparing technical and commercial proposals and organizing product evaluations.
Address customer cybersecurity and data privacy requirements, acting as the primary point of contact for hospital vendor data security and data protection during tender and procurement processes.
Define and present business ROI models, operational efficiency gains, and secure cloud/on-premise deployment benefits to customer decision-makers.
3. Launch Excellence
Drive and support launch excellence across Malaysia using the Roche Launch Powerhouse (LPH) framework.
Support local squad teams (including cross-functional teams from sales, IT, application specialists, and regulatory/quality) to ensure commercial readiness, technical compliance, and successful local market adoption of new navify® modules.
4. Lifecycle & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the Single Point of Contact and Subject Matter Expert for all commercial and product discussions regarding the assigned navify® digital portfolio in Malaysia.
Collect, synthesize, and prioritize inputs from local end-customers, covering customer/product requirements, release priorities, feature trade-offs, cybersecurity standards, data privacy considerations, and key technical issues, to share with regional (APAC) and global digital product teams.
Facilitate seamless technical and commercial alignment between local customer IT/infosec teams and regional digital squads to ensure smooth software deployment and lifecycle maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
Experience Level: Fresh graduates with a strong interest in healthcare technology, or candidates with 1–3 years of early career experience in commercial, pre-sales, IT consultancy, or product marketing roles.
Commercial Mindset: Strong business acumen with a keen interest in marketing, pre-sales, and driving digital solution adoption.
IT & Cybersecurity Literacy:
Basic knowledge of IT environments (e.g., LIS/HIS integrations, cloud vs. on-premise architecture, data flow).
Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity principles and data privacy concepts (e.g., PDPA, data governance, vendor security risk assessments).
Ability to converse comfortably in IT language with hospital IT managers and information security officers.
Skills: Strong presentation, written, and interpersonal skills. Proactive, agile learner capable of working effectively across cross-functional squads.
Language: Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
