Working Environment and Location

This is a field-based Key Account Manager, Oncology role in France, covering the East France territory, with a primary focus on the Besançon and Dijon area.

This is a full-time & permanent contract.

Purpose and Scope

As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with our clients.

In this position, you will cultivate a thorough understanding of patient care pathways and healthcare structures within the relevant therapeutic area, and you will collaborate with key centers and gain an understanding of decision-making processes and pathways.

Role and Responsibilities

Gain a thorough understanding of the needs and requirements of KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) and stakeholders in the region.

Ensure interactions with healthcare professionals, experts, and stakeholders within the local ecosystem through individual visits, high-value projects, omnichannel activity deployment, and conference participation.

Collect and transmit to the Pharmacovigilance department all safety information related to Astellas products within the specified timeframes.

Establish a strategic and tactical action plan and ensure the implementation of the various proposed actions to establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key centers in the region.

Present to healthcare professionals the pharmaceutical products and their place in the therapeutic strategy within the care pathway, comprehensively and according to the company's guidelines, to ensure their proper use.

Ensure daily tracking of visits in a CRM tool, including visit objectives, paying close attention to the nature and information contained in visit reports.

Share the needs of key stakeholders in the region with cross-functional departments (medical and commercial/marketing).

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent .

Proven experience working within the hospital network in the Dijon and/or Besançon area, with an established understanding of the local healthcare environment.

Eligibility to promote and engage with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), demonstrated through a Diplôme de la Visite Médicale or an equivalent qualification (e.g., Pharmacist).

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and healthcare stakeholder engagement.

Fluent French language skills at a professional business level, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the East France territory.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in marketing within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry is an advantage.

Experience in Oncology is desirable.

Experience in other specialty care areas is considered an asset.

Working knowledge of English is preferred and will support collaboration within an international environment.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and engage with a diverse range of healthcare stakeholders is a plus.
