Role Purpose
Lead Strategic Indirect procurement transactions. Oversee quality and compliance across all procurement processes within the organization. Ensures that material purchases are executed in an optimal economic and strategic manner, in full compliance with global corporate procurement policies, while maximizing cross-functional synergies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end procurement processes for strategic transactions (above NIS 200,000).
Provide professional support to business units (R&D, Production, Marketing) in managing negotiations with major suppliers.
Conduct ongoing reviews and controls of procurement processes to ensure compliance with global procurement policies.
Keep Procurement policies updated.
Identify and drive synergies across different procurement domains to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
Manage relationships with strategic suppliers and establish long-term framework agreements.
Support and assist the CFO in cross-functional projects and related assignments, as required.

Scope Exclusions
The role is not responsible for day-to-day operational purchasing activities below NIS 200,000 (except for process compliance oversight).
The role does not include the operational execution of Purchase Orders (POs) within procurement systems.
Key Stakeholders & Interfaces
Direct reporting line to the CFO
Ongoing collaboration with Purchasing Managers within the Business Units.
Close partnership with core functions: R&D, Production, and Marketing.
Tools, Systems & Infrastructure
SAP
Ariba
Excel excellent knowledge (data analysis and reporting)
Local procurement and financial systems
Success Metrics
Savings: Achieving measurable and documented cost savings from led strategic transactions.
Compliance: Zero material deviations from global procurement policies in periodic audits.
Cycle Time: Meeting defined timelines for the closure of strategic procurement deals.
Internal Satisfaction: Positive feedback from business units regarding the quality of support and added value delivered.
Reporting Structure
Reports to: CFO
Direct reports: None (Individual Contributor / Headquarters role)
Ongoing Responsibilities
Approval of new supplier onboarding within the system.
Providing sign-off for material purchases, not directly led by the role.
Leading annual contract renewal processes for significant strategic contracts.
Leading negotiations and bids for material purchases
Leading agreement negotiations
Ongoing analysis and control of compliance to Global Procurement policies
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree – mandatory
Relevant experience in a global organization – advantage
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience – mandatory
High level of English – mandatory
High level of Excel – mandatory
Working with SAP and Ariba - advantage
