The Position
The Global Supply Chain Operations organization bridges commercial markets and the global manufacturing network through integrated supply, inventory, and replenishment governance.
As Head of Supply Chain Operations & Logistics, you will direct an enterprise function accountable for end-to-end logistics execution across drug substance, drug product, and finished goods, driving operational planning, market service levels, and cost-to-serve optimization. In this mandate, you will architect and execute the global Pharma Logistics Strategy: exercising total fiscal governance, scaling operational efficiencies, and enforcing rigorous compliance across GDP, customs, international trade, export controls, and economic sanctions.
Key Responsibilities
Direct end-to-end logistics execution and finished goods planning across internal and external packaging networks, leveraging centralized inventory management to protect patient supply and optimize working capital.
Own the global logistics budget and capital allocation, driving margin expansion, operational performance, and enterprise cost optimization through high-value 3PL/4PL partnerships.
Enforce rigorous adherence to GDP, trade compliance, customs, and anti-counterfeiting protocols while spearheading risk-mitigation and footprint transformation strategies to safeguard business continuity against geopolitical disruptions.
Own the global Flow of Goods Policy, providing strategic governance over warehouse capacity planning, material flows, and standard operating frameworks across site networks.
Steer the long-term technology architecture and enterprise system integrations, advancing predictive AI routing, automated documentation, TMS efficiency, and end-to-end Track & Trace visibility.
Represent the enterprise before global regulatory authorities, trade groups, and government agencies to influence logistics policies, trade frameworks, and industry standards.
Sponsor and scale a diverse, high-performing global talent pipeline and executive succession architecture across end-to-end supply chain functions.

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
