The Opportunity
Establish global contracting standards: Define, govern, and continuously improve global contracting frameworks, tools, templates, and governance standards across the global sites network.
Shape delivery and contracting strategies: Advise project teams and facilitate workshops to select fit-for-purpose project delivery models (e.g., DBB, EPC, EPCM, IPD) and commercial risk-allocation frameworks tailored to project complexity and market conditions.
Mitigate contractual and commercial risks: Participate in independent project reviews to identify, assess, and manage commercial risks, scope changes, claims, and disputes across the complete project lifecycle.
Lead partner and supplier relationship management: Partner with Global Procurement to drive collaborative management of engineering and construction partners, evaluating supplier performance and leveraging market capacity intelligence.
Build organizational capability: Design and deliver technical training, playbooks, and communities of practice across Engineering and Procurement to systematically capture and share lessons learned globally.
Drive cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers, Project Controls, Legal, Finance, and Procurement to ensure integrated decision-making and leverage market trends for strategic advantage.

Capital Project & Industry Experience: You bring at least 15 years of relevant experience in contracting, commercial management, procurement, or project delivery for major capital investment projects within Life Sciences, Oil & Gas, or similar capital-intensive industries.
Matrix Leadership & Stakeholder Influence: You possess exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-cultural skills, with a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and building lasting relationships across global matrix organizations without direct authority.
Strategic Thinking & Digital Mindset: You demonstrate strong systematic thinking, transparent decision-making, and commercial acumen, with familiarity in Lean methodologies, digital tools, data analytics, or AI-enabled solutions being a distinct advantage.

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
