We are looking for a strategic, collaborative, and insights-driven Global Alzheimer’s Disease Marketing Lead (Director-level) to join our Stakeholder Integration team, based in UCB’s offices in one of the following locations: Atlanta, GA, Raleigh, NC or Boston, MA. This is a hybrid role, not remote, and relocation packages are available.
About the role
You will shape commercialization of a post-proof-of-concept asset in Alzheimer's disease. Bringing direct disease-area experience, you will build UCB's understanding of the market, patients, caregivers, diagnosis, biomarkers, and healthcare system, and translate it into development and commercial choices. Who you’ll work with
You will work closely with the Global Stakeholder Integrator and cross-functional colleagues responsible for commercial strategy, asset development, evidence generation, patient access, and investment decisions. You will lead collaboration and commercial decision-making across functions and geographies while bringing external stakeholder perspectives into asset strategy.
What you’ll do
Build UCB's Alzheimer's disease knowledge and translate patient, caregiver, stakeholder, diagnostic, access, and competitive insights into asset choices.
Lead the global cross-functional forum for learning, collaboration and commercial decision making.
Develop the patient population and indication vision, value proposition, positioning, and commercialization strategy.
Define the market-development priorities required to support future adoption, including diagnosis, biomarkers, referral and treatment pathways, healthcare infrastructure, and care delivery.
Develop market assessments, forecasts, business cases, and commercialization scenarios, including key assumptions, uncertainties, and capability needs.
Support evaluation of development and partnering scenarios through commercial assessment of strategic options, assumptions, opportunities, and risks.
Bring external stakeholder perspectives into asset decisions and translate the work into clear recommendations for the Asset team.
Interested? For this role, we’re looking for the following:
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
10+ years of pharmaceutical strategy, marketing, or commercialization experience.
2+ years direct Alzheimer’s disease or dementia experience.
2+ years experience supporting a development-stage, post-proof-of-concept, or pre-launch asset.
Preferred Requirements
Experience developing market assessments, forecasts, scenarios, or business cases
Strong understanding of Alzheimer’s diagnosis, biomarkers, stakeholders, and treatment pathways.
U.S. pharmaceutical commercialization experience.
Global pharmaceutical strategy or commercialization experience.
Experience supporting partnered or co-development assets.
Strong business judgment and ability to synthesize incomplete information.
Demonstrated success leading through influence across functions and geographies.
This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $184,000.00 - $242,000.00 The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
