Make your mark for patients
We are looking for a Digital Technology Lead AI Solutions who is curious, autonomous and impact-driven to join our DT Tech Strategy & Solutions team, based at our HQ in Anderlecht, Belgium.
About the role
As a Digital Technology Lead AI Solutions, you will help business teams explore how artificial intelligence can improve the way they work and turn their ideas into practical, scalable solutions. You will engage with stakeholders to understand their challenges, identify where AI can create meaningful value and shape the right solution. You will define the vision and overall direction of AI solutions, develop high-level architectures, assess technology options and guide initiatives from early exploration and experimentation through production readiness and adoption. You will work in an environment where your ability to bring structure to ambiguity, propose solutions and clearly explain technical options and trade-offs will be essential.
Who you’ll work with
You will join a transversal team of AI solution leads and engineers supporting initiatives across the organization, with a particular focus on commercial, marketing and other go-to-market areas. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Digital Technology teams, data and AI engineers, architecture, security, privacy, compliance and Responsible AI colleagues. You will guide small development teams, bringing together the right internal and external expertise depending on the needs of each initiative.
What you’ll do
Engage with stakeholders to understand their activities, challenges and desired outcomes, and identify where artificial intelligence can deliver meaningful business and user value
Shape opportunities where requirements are still unclear, assessing business value, data availability, technical feasibility, delivery complexity and potential risks
Translate business challenges into clear use cases, solution concepts, high-level architectures, success criteria and practical delivery approaches
Present technology, platform, vendor and development options, explaining their benefits, limitations and trade-offs to support informed stakeholder decisions
Lead several initiatives from exploration and prototyping through production readiness, implementation, adoption and continuous improvement
Develop prototypes and conduct targeted technical experiments when needed, while guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams towards reliable, scalable and user-centred solutions
Ensure solutions align with enterprise requirements for architecture, data, security, privacy, quality, responsible artificial intelligence and applicable regulations
Interested? For this role, we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, business analytics or any related field
At least 4 years of experience designing or delivering predictive, prescriptive, generative or autonomous artificial intelligence solutions in an industry, technology consulting or business environment
Hands-on experience with Python and relevant technologies such as language models, intelligent agent frameworks, search technologies, data processing and vector or graph databases
Ability to understand ambiguous business needs and translate them into clear, feasible and valuable technology solutions
Experience engaging with business stakeholders and coordinating small multidisciplinary teams across several initiatives
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts, architectural choices and technology trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Autonomous and collaborative approach, with the initiative to drive progress and a strong commitment to responsible and ethical artificial intelligence practices

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
