Commercial Excellence Partner
Department: International Operations – Commercial Excellence
Location: Cairo, Egypt
Your impact begins here
As a Commercial Excellence Partner, you will support key commercial excellence initiatives and transform data into actionable insights that help our teams in Egypt focus on the right customers at the right time. Your work will enable frontline colleagues to maximize their time and resources where they matter most, helping us reach more patients and create a lasting health impact across Egypt.
What you’ll bring
A Bachelor’s degree in business, pharma, marketing or a relevant discipline.
More than 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in technical or data analysis, or in a related role.
Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI, including data visualisation.
A strong understanding of database management and proficiency in data validation, with a focus on accuracy and integrity.
Strong business understanding and the ability to translate data into clear recommendations.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to present complex data in a simple, convincing way.
Very good verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects under time pressure.
Useful, but not essential:
Experience working with IQVIA or similar market data sources, or with sales force sizing and incentive calculations.
What you’ll do
You will give Novo’s Egypt organisation the insight and structure it needs to execute with focus and pace.
Support Commercial Excellence initiatives that align with business strategy and optimise resource allocation.
Support segmentation, targeting, territory alignment and sales force sizing to strengthen customer engagement and field force effectiveness.
Monitor in-market sales reporting, validate distributor data and analyse performance.
Follow up on target setting at brick level and develop non-financial KPIs through call planning processes.
Prepare market insights from IQVIA data and other internal and external sources, and make sure frontline incentive calculations reflect business objectives.
Deliver regular business performance reports that highlight opportunities, risks and recommended actions, and support ad-hoc projects as they arise.
Who you’ll work with
In International Operations, colleagues work across markets to serve people around the world and help improve health at scale. You will be based in Cairo, report to the CE and Business Insights Manager, and your work will cover Egypt.
Your closest partners will be the Novo Nordisk Egypt Frontline Excellence teams, and frontline colleagues in Sales, Marketing, Medical and Corporate Affairs. You will also work with Finance, and with regional business and technical teams (REM, BAAF, GBS). Externally, you will work with IQVIA and IPSOS.
These relationships keep your work close to real customer needs. You will bring teams together around the same data, speak up when numbers do not add up and help them move from insight to action.
What you can expect here
You will join a team where your expertise is valued and your voice is heard. You will be trusted to own your work, and supported to perform at your best through clear expectations and honest feedback.
The role offers room to grow: you will build new skills through exposure to regional and international teams, and through hands-on work across Commercial, Finance and Medical colleagues. Together, we combine curiosity, collaboration and ambition to create progress people can feel.

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
