About this opportunity

Your impact begins here

As Associate Consumer Pricing Director, you will lead pricing and deal strategy for non-traditional channels across EUCAN: e-health and online channels, online pharmacies and e-commerce, direct-to-employer and private health insurance. Obesity is your primary focus. You will shape how deals are designed, negotiated and put into practice, while protecting the pricing system that supports access across markets. Your work helps more people living with serious chronic disease reach treatment, through routes that fit real life.

What you’ll bring

You combine pricing expertise with commercial understanding and the confidence to influence decisions at every level.

An M.Sc. or MBA in economics, business administration, finance or a similar field.

At least 7 years of experience in pharma pricing, market access, business analytics or finance, from an affiliate, regional or headquarter role, or from a consultancy.

Proven expertise in international reference pricing (IRP) and parallel trade risk, HTA, launch planning, mature brand and generic life-cycle management, and budget  and forecasting processes.

Strong project and stakeholder management, and strong interpersonal skills.

Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate and influence across multiple levels, internally and externally.

Business acumen and a problem-solving mindset that turns analysis into decisions that support patient access and business goals.

Fluency in written and spoken English.

Useful, but not essential:

Experience negotiating commercial deals.

Experience with e-commerce or digital health business models.

What you’ll do

You will be the recognised expert on commercial channel pricing in EUCAN, turning analysis into clear recommendations and deals that work in practice.

Lead commercial pricing and deal strategy for non-traditional channels

Set the pricing strategy for e-health and online prescribers, online pharmacies and e-commerce, direct-to-employer and private health insurance across EUCAN, with obesity as the focus and the wider portfolio in view.

Develop deal structures and pricing guardrails for non-traditional players, in alignment with IO Pricing.

Lead gross-to-net and discount analytics to inform deal design and pricing decisions.

Lead the design, negotiation and governance of deals with key accounts

Give recommendations and input to key account management for EUCAN-level providers, and support negotiations with selected key accounts.

Support affiliates in implementing agreed deals, from negotiation preparation and deal terms to follow-up.

Develop and present recommendations to the EUCAN Pricing Council and to IO and HQ pricing teams.

Safeguard the core pricing system across the portfolio

Assess and mitigate IRP and parallel trade risks arising from net prices in commercial channels.

Monitor the online channel, competitor prices and the market access, HTA and pricing landscape across EUCAN, and flag risks and opportunities to your manager and the Pricing Council.

Contribute to launch planning for new products, indications and formulations, and lead pricing life-cycle strategies for mature brands and generic and biosimilar insights, in coordination with Commercial.

Support key processes, including annual budget planning and long-term forecasting, with recommendations, analytics and quality assurance.

Build pricing analytics, insights and capabilities

Lead the development of commercial pricing capabilities, tools and best practices across the region and affiliates, and mentor colleagues in your field of expertise.

Keep affiliates informed with timely communication, and share relevant best practices and information.

Contribute to cross-functional team processes, including team meetings, budget and launch planning, and manage the budget for your own tasks and external projects.

Who you’ll work with

You will join EUCAN Pricing & Market Access in International Operations, where colleagues work across markets to serve people around the world and help improve health at scale. Your responsibility covers the EUCAN region and your assigned therapy area(s), with specific countries managed as key accounts.

Your closest partners are the affiliates you support in negotiations and deal implementation, key account management, and Business Development. You will also work with IO and HQ pricing teams and present to the EUCAN Pricing Council, so decisions are made with clarity and at pace. You will report to Senior Director Pricing & Market Access

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
