Responsibilities:

Value Access and Innovative Access Pathways

Own value access strategies for priority brands, launches, new indications, and lifecycle opportunities in both markets, with tailored country plans, measurable objectives, and clear execution priorities.

Assess public and private payer pathways, reimbursement and listing requirements, procurement dynamics, provider needs, competition, and affordability; identify barriers and actionable opportunities.

Lead pricing and reimbursement strategies and recommendations, evaluating access, financial, competitive, and policy implications and aligning proposals with Amgen governance and regional/global direction.

Develop payer value propositions and evidence packages, including health economic and budget impact analyses and real-world evidence where relevant, to support reimbursement and funding decisions.

Identify and develop sustainable access routes, partnerships, alternative funding models, and patient access programs, with appropriate business cases and Legal, Compliance, and Medical governance.

Build payer and provider stakeholder plans and lead cross-functional execution with Finance, Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance; track outcomes, resolve barriers, and adapt plans as market conditions change.

Policy

Lead the Malaysia/Singapore healthcare policy and government affairs agenda, aligned with affiliate priorities and JAPAC/global direction.

Monitor healthcare, reimbursement, fiscal, trade, legislative, political, and regulatory developments; translate them into business implications, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.

Develop policy positions, narratives, stakeholder maps, engagement plans, briefing materials, and approved messaging for consistent external engagement.

Build compliant relationships with relevant government agencies, policymakers, payers, healthcare institutions, clinicians, industry associations, patient organizations, and other policy influencers; represent Amgen in relevant forums.

Prepare senior leaders for external engagements, track follow-up actions, and bring country insights into affiliate, JAPAC, and global discussions.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
