We at Egis Rompharma are looking for a proactive and commercial mindset driven Trade Marketing Manager to join our team in Romania.
The future Trade Marketing Manager will report directly to the Business Unit Manager and will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies that drive product availability, visibility, recommendation, and sell-out performance across pharmacy chains, wholesalers, independent pharmacies, and other OTC retail channels.
This role acts as the bridge between Brand Marketing and Sales, ensuring that brand strategies are effectively translated into customer-specific activation plans that increase market share, sales growth, and profitability.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement annual Trade Marketing plans aligned with company objectives and with Commercial strategy.
Translate brand strategies into specific customer activation plans.
Define priorities by channel, customer, and product category.
Identify growth opportunities and route-to-market initiatives.
Develop promotional campaigns, sell-out initiatives, loyalty programs, and customer engagement activities.
Ensure excellent execution of launches and seasonal campaigns.
Develop with Brand managers trade launch toolkit
Support negotiation processes with key pharmacy chains through compelling trade proposals.
Act as strong business partner for the key account manager and the brand managers.
Requirements:
University degree combined with directly relevant experience in customer/ trade marketing management.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position within consumer health business structure with trade marketing responsibilities.
Experience working with pharmacy chains and key customers.
Proven experience in successful product launches.
Microsoft Office Competency
Understanding of financial KPIs
Planning skills – advanced level.
Fluent English spoken & written
B category driving license.
Ability to constantly challenge oneself and have a strong ‘can-do’ attitude.
