This field-based role spans Spain, serving as the primary point of contact for technical information regarding the Portable Delivery System (PDS) in ophthalmic surgery. This includes operating rooms and ophthalmology clinics. As a crucial member of a high-performing technical team, the SDP is responsible for comprehensive training, certification, and technical product support for investigators and clinical staff. The aim is to ensure optimal patient outcomes. By collaborating with study sites and the global cross-functional team, the SDP contributes valuable technical insights to ophthalmic surgery device development programs.

Independently manage the preparation and execution of necessary training for all surgical procedures involving ophthalmic medical devices/the Port Delivery Platform for surgeons, ophthalmologists, and other ophthalmic HCPs.

Provide ongoing remote and on-site support and training to surgical staff to ensure the proper use of the platform.

Attend ophthalmic medical product/PD-P surgical procedures (implantation, revision, explantation, refilling-exchange) in the operating room (as per local regulations and strategy) and in the clinic to instruct and support surgeons and clinical staff during live cases.

Deliver regulatory, safety, and risk minimization activities at the affiliate level, if required.

Develop and maintain strategic relationships with surgeons, therapeutic area experts, and other key healthcare professionals.

Collaborate with the Medical team to provide strategic scientific review of surgical materials and communications.

Collect and share insights from the field.

Collaborate within a cross-functional team, including other SDPs and iSquad members, both locally and globally.

Proficiency in GCP, Adverse Event Reporting, and ICH guidelines.

Excellent communication, interviewing, presentation, and moderation skills, including clear and precise written and oral communication and a high level of professionalism in dealing with customers, doctors, nurses, and other medical staff.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
