Voor onze locatie in Heist-op-den-Berg zijn we voor de afdeling Stabiliteit op zoek naar een:

Stability Officer

De site in Heist-op-den-Berg is verantwoordelijk voor de productie, verpakking, testing en vrijgave van farmaceutische producten binnen vier Integrated Process Teams (IPTs). De activiteiten omvatten onder meer de sterilisatie van actieve farmaceutische ingrediënten (API’s), de productie en inspectie van steriele producten, de productie en verpakking van vaste en vloeibare farmaceutische vormen en de verpakking van biotechnologische producten.

De kwaliteitsafdeling staat in voor de controle en vrijgave van producten, het testen van grondstoffen, verpakkingsmaterialen en eindproducten, en het waarborgen van de naleving van internationale regelgeving en kwaliteitsstandaarden. De afdeling Stabiliteit, onderdeel van Quality Systems, bestaat uit een Manager Stabiliteit & System Admin en 14 medewerkers. Het team ondersteunt de houdbaarheid van producten in alle exportmarkten door het uitvoeren van stabiliteitsstudies, onder meer in het kader van registraties, wijzigingen in productie- of verpakkingsprocessen en wettelijke of bedrijfsvereisten.

 

De positie

Een belangrijk onderdeel van deze functie is het opvolgen van afwijkende resultaten uit stabiliteitsstudies. In dergelijke gevallen voer je grondig onderzoek uit naar de oorzaak en impact van de afwijking en bepaal je eventuele vervolgacties met betrekking tot de houdbaarheid, verpakkingscomponenten of labelclaim van het product. Indien nodig kunnen deze acties ook betrekking hebben op producten die reeds op de markt zijn. Als Stability Officer leid je dit proces van onderzoek tot implementatie van de noodzakelijke maatregelen. Kortom, een functie met veel verantwoordelijkheid, uitdaging en afwisseling.

Verantwoordelijkheden:

Coördinatie en planning van nieuwe en lopende stabiliteitsstudies samen met alle betrokken partijen.

Opmaak van stabiliteitsprotocols dat duidelijk alle vereisten weergeeft: product(en), samenstelling, verpakkingscomponenten, staalnames, testcriteria, etcetera.

Evaluatie van de resultaten en escalatie indien nodig.

Behandelen van deviaties en out-of-trend resultaten.

Schrijven van statistische evaluaties voor Product Reviews.

Adviseren over de potentiële impact van wijzigingen op stabiliteit en de nood om de wijziging door stabiliteitsstudies te ondersteunen.

Behandelen van data requests van bijvoorbeeld regulatory teams en andere internationale interne stakeholders.

Opvolgen werking klimaatkasten voor de bewaring van product-samples.

Het in vraag stellen van bestaande concepten en werkwijzes en het doen van voorstellen voor optimalisatie.

Op de hoogte blijven van de ontwikkelingen in vereisten voor stabiliteitsstudies en voorstellen doen om te blijven voldoen aan alle vereisten.

Vereiste opleiding, werkervaring en vaardigheden

Hogere opleiding (professional bachelor of master) in een wetenschappelijke richting zoals farmacie, biomedische wetenschappen, (industrieel) apotheker, industrieel ingenieur, (bio)chemie, biotechnologie of een andere relevante richting.

Werkervaring in een farmaceutische of gerelateerde omgeving.

Je hebt probleemoplossend vermogen, verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en administratieve vaardigheden.

Je bent georganiseerd, analytisch, communicatief en leergierig.

Je bent kwaliteitsgericht, hebt oog voor detail en werkt zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband.

Je kunt omgaan met wisselende prioriteiten en hebt een ‘hands-on’ mentaliteit.

Je beschikt over goede Nederlandse en Engelse taalvaardigheden in woord en geschrift.

Gewenste werkervaring en vaardigheden

Ervaring met cGMP regels en –voorschriften.

Kennis van analytische en microbiologische testen.
