Role Summary
This is a truly unprecedented moment to join Servier! As our Senior Director, Healthcare Professional (HCP) Marketing, you will be at the cutting edge of a first-in-class launch for Becker muscular dystrophy in the U.S., addressing a profound and urgent unmet medical need where no therapy currently exists. You will serve as a visionary commercial leader, charting the course for our U.S. HCP marketing strategy within Servier's rare neurology portfolio. This pivotal role involves spearheading commercialization efforts, developing groundbreaking, differentiated strategies to educate healthcare professionals, accelerate appropriate adoption, and ultimately transform outcomes and hope for patients living with Becker. Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing, you will own the entire HCP brand strategy from pre-launch through commercialization and lifecycle management, forging deep partnerships across Medical Affairs, Sales, Market Access, Patient Marketing, and global teams to deliver a truly integrated and impactful customer experience. We are seeking an exceptional pharmaceutical marketing leader with a proven track record in successfully launching specialty or rare disease therapies, adept at translating complex science into compelling HCP communications, and inspiring high-performing cross-functional teams to achieve the extraordinary.
Primary Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Launch Leadership
Lead development and execution of the U.S. HCP brand strategy for Becker muscular dystrophy
Define HCP positioning, value proposition, messaging architecture, and promotional strategy
Translate clinical evidence and market insights into differentiated commercial strategies
Develop long-range strategic and lifecycle plans aligned with corporate objectives
HCP Marketing Strategy
Own all HCP promotional strategy across personal and non-personal channels
Partner with the digital marketer to develop strategic, integrated omnichannel campaigns designed to educate healthcare professionals throughout the treatment journey
Ensure consistent execution across digital, field, congress, and peer-to-peer education programs
Launch Excellence
Lead commercial launch readiness planning across all HCP marketing workstreams
Partner with Commercial Operations and Sales Leadership on field readiness initiatives
Support forecasting, demand planning, and launch scenario modelling
Ensure seamless transition from pre-launch to commercialization
Customer Insights
Partner with Market Research, Thought Leader Liaisons, Sales, and Medical Affairs to generate actionable customer insights
Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, treatment trends, and evolving standards of care
Incorporate customer feedback into brand strategy and tactical execution
Identify emerging opportunities to improve diagnosis, referral, and treatment
Scientific Communication
Translate complex clinical data into compelling, compliant HCP messaging
Lead creation of promotional materials, sales tools, and educational resources
Ensure scientific accuracy while maintaining commercial relevance
Partner closely with Medical Affairs to ensure aligned scientific communication
Financial & Agency Management
Manage HCP marketing budget within +/- 3% of approved plan
Lead agency performance management
Ensure marketing investments generate measurable business outcomes
Monitor campaign performance and optimize ROI through data-driven decision making
Team Leadership
Hire, develop, retain, and coach a team of marketers
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and customer focus
Mentor future commercial leaders across the organization
Job Description
Candidate Profile
Education and Required Skills
Bachelor's degree required; MBA, PharmD, PhD, or other advanced degree preferred
Minimum 12+ years of progressive pharmaceutical or biotechnology commercial experience
Minimum 8+ years of HCP marketing or brand leadership experience
Experience developing disease awareness campaigns and HCP education strategies
Demonstrated success leading at least one U.S. product launch
Significant experience in rare disease, specialty pharmaceuticals, or neurology
Proven success developing HCP marketing strategies across multiple channels
Experience managing significant commercial budgets and agency partners
Demonstrated leadership in highly matrixed organizations
Strong understanding of promotional regulations, PRC review, and commercial compliance
Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and executive presence
Travel and Location
Ability to travel approximately 30%
This is a remote role. Occasional presence (1-2 times/quarter) in the Boston office required for workshops, key strategy meetings, etc.

Salary Range
The salary range for this role is $251-$307. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Employees in this position are also eligible for Short-Term and Long-Term incentive programs.
