This position works out of our Altavista, VA location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You’ll Work On

Maintain database and records of batch corrections. Perform monthly corrections data trend analysis.

Use inventory systems (CAMBAR, AMAPS) to adjust inventory and perform batch re-release.

Perform, coordinate and verify batch segregation and Quality Hold. Maintain database and executes verification of onsite destruct and reconciliation of off-site destructs.

Coordinate batch samplings, sampling or re-processing following Deviation, Investigation and/or Batch Work Order requirements.

Assist and backup Coordinator of Customer Complaints. Train new employees as needed.

Coordinate, pull, and ship library samples to division per required schedule.

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

Thorough knowledge of the manufacturing process including Analytical, Processing, Filling and familiarity with FDA and IFA regulations.

Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals.

QA experience with a minimum of two years in the Quality Organization.

The base pay for this position is $20.85 – $41.75 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
