Lead reimbursement feasibility assessments for pipeline assets to support portfolio prioritisation and resource allocation.

Monitor the evolving reimbursement and policy landscape in Australia and New Zealand and contribute to stakeholder engagement activities that support access objectives.

Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per AbbVie’s policies and procedures.

Proactively participate in AbbVie’s WHS programs, adhere to policies and promote a safe work environment at all times.

Adhere to AbbVie’s internal codes of conduct and compliance processes.

Other ad hoc duties such as administrative duties, as requested.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Biomedical, Science, Public Health, Health Economics, or Business Administration

Extensive experience in market access, health economics, or related roles within the pharmaceutical industry

Experience in Value and Access strategy development, and advanced capability in writing high-quality HTA submissions with clear, evidence-based value propositions

Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently, including management of external vendors and project timeline

Strong strategic & analytical thinking: demonstrated by the ability to identify and understand complex issues and problems, and interpret information in a manner that provides appropriate recommendations to senior management and across functional areas

Strong understanding of the ANZ healthcare system and reimbursement processes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content to technical and non-technical audiences.

Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently, including management of external vendors and project timeline

Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and matrix environments, and to lead collaborative initiatives

Ability to adapt to evolving customer needs/demands within a changing environment

Flexibility and Availability: In line with Australia’s 'Right to Disconnect' legislation, we recognise and respect employees' right to refuse contact outside of their working hours, unless such refusal is deemed unreasonable. As we operate in an international, matrixed environment, there may be occasions where your role requires participation in business meetings outside of standard hours. We value and support flexibility and appreciate your willingness to occasionally accommodate these requests to ensure effective collaboration and communication within our global team.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
